This was a fun challenge to be inspired by a pink and purple cupcake and had to be fit for a princess. The competition is open until midnight tonight so you still have time to make a card or layout, click on http://scrapbookboutiquenews.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/new-challenge-has-started.html for details. Here's my layout I made this afternoon, my daughter Chloe is not dressed as a princess in the photos as you can see but she is still a princess at heart!!

Hi, I haven't had much chance to upload anything this week as I've been busy finishing a huge wall art I'm creating for my home. I will share it once it's completely finished.
I did manage to make 2 cards this week and one is for Totally Tilda, they have a challenge where you need to make a card using a banner or pennant so here's my take, feel free to join in at http://totallytilda.blogspot.com.au/:
I haven't done a folded card like this before but thought this little Tilda would look cute looking over the top of the banner. Sorry the photo is a little wishy-washy, the colours are actually very bright in this card.
The papers are Echo Park and I've used FWAB pearls. The cute stamp is a The Greeting Farm stamp and I stamped her onto the patterned paper as well so I could cut out her top and hat and attach them to her making it a little bit 3D.
Another easy challenge for an FWABBer (Flourish with a Bling lover) as all we make is embellishments! And I love adding as many as I can on a card lol, if you want to join in they have a great prize up for grabs http://ccmonthlychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ so here's my card for this competition:
I made the assorted flowers with my retro flower punches, inked and doodled on them. I made the clouds by making a cardstock template and then brushing chalk upwards lightly.
FWAB products used: Trent's fence & grass, Jack vine leaves, pink pearls from our pearl packs
Here's my Magnolia-licious challenge entry, if you'd like to enter here's their blog for information http://magnolia-liciouschallengeblog.blogspot.com.au/ . The inspiration was an eye shadow set of different colours so that makes it nice and easy to be inspired. I was inspired by the blue, pink and silver colours, here's my take (click on the image to enlarge it):
For this week's Magnolia Down Under competion they require 2 of something (and a Magnolia stamp or doo hickey die). I have 2 pink roses or 2 flowers on this card. If you want to join in this competition go to http://magnoliadownunderchallenges.blogspot.com.au/ for more details.
Just Magnolia are having a competition that requires a Magnolia stamped image and a doily so here's my entry. If you want to enter, here's the link: http://justmagnolia.blogspot.co.uk/ I think it's open for another few days. The vine is from Flourish with a Bling (http://www.flourishwithabling.com.au/) check out their stockist list to buy your vines. The pearls on the flowers are also FWAB. XOX Lucy
Hope you're having a great weekend! I have 2 layouts to upload today, one boy and one girl layout that I did with the same paper brand - My Mind's Eye (although the timber style paper is from a different range). They have a similar design but hopefully you'll enjoy the difference between the two.
I have used FWAB Chloe antique gold and baby blue flourishes on these layouts.
I made this printers tray for my Nan in England of her visit out here years ago. This chipboard tray is from Scrapmatts. I used some FWAB antique gold pearls and leaves cut from our Jack vine and Adam vine (mini vine, not the large one). The papers are part of the Simple Stories Generation range. XOX Lucy
