Gold Striped Paris Birthday Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Oh how I loved creating this background with my washi tapes. I rarely use them so this was really fun to try something new. I die cut some glitter foam stars to finish it off. I also have a black strip of cardstock on the left hand side but it's hard to see because I photographed the card on a black background.

Celebrating Chloe passing her driving test card (Saturated Canary image)

Hi crafty friends,

This is my last card for today, I hope you've enjoyed seeing all the different cards I've been creating recently.

I made this card ready for my daughter Chloe who's going for her driver's licence tomorrow, fingers crossed she gets it as she just bought a car last week so it's sitting here ready to be driven. It'll be so much easier for me and hubby too, she works part-time at Subway in the evenings and we normally pick her up, the weather is just starting to cool down so it's perfect timing!

The girl is from Saturated Canary, sadly it's no longer available but if you like Krista's images you can find some at Make it Crafty.

It's so difficult to photograph shiny gold paper but hopefully I did ok after taking quite a few shots. This fabulous girl comes from All Dressed Up, isn't she divine? I've left the card fairly clean and simple.

Happy 21st Birthday Tahlia (Hannah Lynn/Crafts & Me image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

My girlfriend's gorgeous daughter is turning 21 in a couple of weeks and it's a masquerade party. I found out she's wearing white and gold (the 2 hardest colours to try and colour haha!) so when I saw this new image from Hannah Lynn (find it at Crafts and Me) I just had to buy it and try my best at colouring it to match my friend's daughter. Hopefully you see the image wearing white and gold rather than grey and yellow hehe. I then coloured the background with my black Copic marker. I also used a lot of dies on this card and gold heat embossed on the sentiment/tags. I have a close up below, click on it for extra enlargement.
