Easter fun card (Polkadoodles image)

Hi crafty friends,

My daughter just turned 18 yesterday so although I have many cards to share I haven't had a chance to post any of them yet! Over the next week you may just be seeing a few Easter and girly cards from me :)

Here's my 2nd GDT card for Polkadoodles, aren't their images just adorable? I printed the image in a light shade of grey to give it a softer look, click HERE to go directly to this sweet bunny girl. The polka dot and cloud papers are part of a Polkadoodles set too, click HERE to go to this particular digi paper collection, they do have many other beautiful digital paper packs too. I used a gorgeous Trent's Fence from Flourish with a Bling.

I've used this lovely image before so I've added the cards below, I think it's always nice to see different way of using the same image.

My Guest Designer card at Polkadoodles - Lots of green challenge (Polkadoodles image)

Hi crafty friends,

I'm so excited to be a guest designer for Polkadoodles for the next couple of months. They are an anything goes challenge blog but for this challenge they are giving the DT a theme of using lots of green. Well, I thought this gorgeous fairy with the roses (Octavia Moonfly Rose Garden) was perfect for the theme. I added a couple of little hearts and tried to give her some high cheek bones hehe.

Birthday Girl with lolly bag and kitty (Conie Fong image)

Hi crafty friends,

I've been watching Youtube videos again lol and so I was inspired to create my own background from scratch! Now I'm not a drawer at all so this was very difficult to do but, apart from a big mistake (can you pick it? I'll tell you in a minute) I was happy with how it turned out. The tree is surprisingly easier to create, the rest took a lot more thought. My mistake was when I created the fence I coloured all the vertical pieces without giving consideration to the horizontal pieces that would be in front of the slats. So I had to make the horizontal pieces darker to try and hide what I'd done. I didn't succeed very well but have definitely learned for next time. Probably would be a good idea to draw the background in with a grey-lead pencil first doh! This adorable image with her cat comes from Conie Fong. Big hugs from a fairy (Di's Digis image)

Hi crafty friends,

Here's another gorgeous digi image I printed out ages ago and have only just got around to colouring and creating with. You can find this lovely fairy at Di's Digis. I used a lot of die cuts for this scene, mostly from Lawn Fawn and some fluffy clouds from Flourish with a Bling.

As you like it - single or multi-layer - I definitely find multi-layer easier to create, I always think something is missing if I try clean and simple. I love adding these die cut layers to create a scene.
