Bugaboo Christmas Rocker card

Hi Crafty Friends,

I know I haven't been around for a while, I've been addicted to adding my cards on Instagram now. I still love my blog though so I have many cards to add tonight to make up for my MIA.

This cute critter comes from Bugaboo Stamps and I decided to make a rocker card.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

As you like it - Fave die - my stitched circle dies because I can make cards like this (rocker cards) with my circle dies, I wouldn't be able to cut out a perfect circle.
Catch The Bug - Holiday Critter Chaos - Critter plus snow
Crafting by Designs - anything goes
Cupcake Inspirations - Holidays
Di's Digis - Winter holidays
Imagine That  anything goes

Cheers! Brown leather look card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Just in case you missed my other blog post - I've been setting up an Instagram account for my cards so it's nice and easy to see all my cards in one place now rather than scrolling through my blog! I love it and I hope you will too, if you want to follow me on Instagram please, please do! Click HERE to be taken to my gallery. You don't need to have an account to see my gallery (I don't think, I'm still new to Instagram myself hehe). I've added over 100 cards already, I'm going through all my photos and just choosing my favourite cards over the past 8 years, I'm only up to 2014!

Ok, so now onto my last card for today and I've created a really masculine card. I used an old Bobunny paper for this. I cut each section, added some foam tape behind each one and added them to a black cardstock. It's so hard to describe the best way to do this and that's when I really wish I had a Youtube channel! I heat embossed the Cheers sentiment.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge -  anything goes wk21
CCC Digi Creations -  Autumn
Crafty Catz - anything goes with optional: dressing up
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper -  anything goes with patterned paper
Imagine That - anything goes
Let's Craft & Create - colors of fall
Pammie's Inky Pinkies - anything goes
Simon Says Stamp (Wed) - Fall colors
Word Art Wednesday -  anything goes

Hi Crafty Friends,

I'm back! Sorry I keep neglecting my blog for a month or so at a time but I've been a bit busy lately - I've been to Italy on holidays, started a new interior decorating course and... I've been setting up an Instagram account for my cards so it's nice and easy to see all my cards in one place now rather than scrolling through my blog! I love it and I hope you will too, if you want to follow me on Instagram please, please do! Click HERE to be taken to my gallery. I've added over 100 cards already, I'm going through all my photos and just choosing my favourite cards over the past 8 years, I'm only up to 2014!

Ok, so now onto my card for today and I coloured up this little cutie from Conie Fong for my 2 darling little nieces that are going to "spook" everyone in their neighbourhood in a couple of days' time hehe. I used my distress oxide inks to create the background and I coloured her with my copics and fussy cut her out.

Ok, so now onto my card for today and I used papers from Simple Stories for this card. I heat embossed the sentiment in copper for a lovely fall feel to this card. The flower is a die cut from a magazine (one of my fave flower dies).

Guest Designer at Imagine That Creative Playground Blog - Llama Kisses card

Hi Crafty Friends,

If you saw my last post you'd know I was lucky enough to win a guest designer spot at Imagine That Creative Playground blog. They're half way through their September challenge so you still have plenty of time to enter and win gorgeous sets like this one to play with. Please click HERE to go check out the challenge.

I had a lot of fun creating this card. I used the background papers and put them altogether before printing so I didn't waste any toner/ink printing extra paper patterns. I only used Llama Kisses digi set to create this card so it's easy for you to make your own version with just a colour printer! I made a 14cm square and then added the papers and made them fit into it so I knew the printout would fit nicely on my 15cm card leaving a white border (see photo below for how I printed it). I even made a white rectangle in the centre where the image was going to be so I saved ink not printing behind where the image was going. I could have made it an all-in-one print out but I liked the llamas scene being added with a bit of height to give it a little 3D. All of the papers I used, the image and sentiment comes in this set plus more so it's definitely worth buying this set. You can buy it HERE. I have shown below how I printed it out.

Thank you so much Kris for letting me choose this generous digi set to play with for my guest spot, I love it and will use it again for sure! This is going to be my hubby's anniversary card :)

Thank you to my special followers for dropping by. I'm going away so I'm not able to add this to any challenge blogs like I usually do.

Guest Designer at Imagine That Creative Playground Blog - Summer card

Hi Crafty Friends,

I was lucky enough to win a guest designer spot at Imagine That Creative Playground blog. They have such gorgeous images I was honored to play with their digital images, backgrounds, papers and sentiment sets.

I had a lot of fun creating this card. I used the PNG files so I could move the items around on the beach to suit my card. I made the girl on the card the same size as a black & white version so I could colour her and her towel myself, fussy cut her and paste onto the scene. I added the PNG sentiment that comes along with it too before printing. This background is so versatile, you can use it with any beachy images so it's definitely worth buying this set. You can buy it HERE. Also, they have monthly challenges where you can win sets - click HERE to go to the blog.

Thank you so much to Kris for letting me choose this generous digi set to play with for my guest spot, I love it and will use it again for sure!

Birthday wishes elephant card (Bugaboo image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I played around with this image putting it onto some background digi papers (from Scrapper's Delights, the "sky" and the grass are different images). I then added the Bugaboo elephant to the scene and lightened the image to grey lines. I coloured the cute image up with my Copics. To finish the card off I added some punched out flowers, a toadstool and a couple of hearts.
