Fairy and dragon Birthday card (Faery Ink Designs image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I've just changed my blog up a bit so it's easier for you to see the challenge details below, they were red but now I've managed to change them to white.

I printed this Faery Ink Designs image in grey tone rather than black to create a no lines image. I'm still very much practicing this technique so please don't look too closely hehe. After I'd coloured the image I realised I had a couple of colour smudges in the background so that's when I decided to add the blue liquid pearls to hide them and I think it worked really well. As they say, there's no errors with crafting :)

To a Special Teenager card (Make It Crafty image)

I love this image from Make it Crafty. I coloured her up and then looked for papers to match, not my usual way of doing things lol. Luckily I think these papers fitted her perfectly and I'm so pleased with how it turned out. I embossed the Birthday sentiment and distressed most of the papers.

New Home Bears (Lili of the Valley stamps)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I used some oh-so-cute bears from Lili of the Valley to create my new home card today. They come in a set of 3 called Posy Trio and they are each in a circle so this involved a little bit of cutting out and careful positioning in the window so it wasn't too obvious. I have a lovely brick embossing folder which I used and cute window and banner dies to add to the scene.

Time for Spring mixed media girly card (The Greeting Farm stamp)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's my second mixed media card where I blended green, orange and yellow inks in a circular fashion then lightly sprayed it with water. I then mixed white paint and glitter and used a shabby clock template to add it. I love how it turned out so I think I will try some more mixed media backgrounds in the future. The gorgeous image is from The Greeting Farm.
