Be Yourself card

Hi crafty friends, I am sorry I've been out of action on my blog for a week but I was away for a few days at a wedding (interstate) and then of course trying to catch up with everything, it takes a while and yet I was itching to start cardmaking again! I have my Auntie's 60th Birthday today so we're about to go out for lunch shortly, so I made her this card using a Doodle Pantry digi. I don't have my camera at the moment so I must apologise for the blurry photo, it was taken on my Iphone. Unfortunately I won't be able to take a better one as I'm giving it to her today.

Wedding Easel card

I'm off to Perth for a few days for a cousin's wedding, so looking forward to it! I have created this card for their wedding day, hope they like it. TGF Clean & Simple card

I know I have gone crazy mad making cards this week lol, not sure if it's because I'm going away for a few days this coming week I'm scared I won't get my "fix" hehe. This is one of my older stamps from The Greeting Farm, I just love these cute little girls, she came in a pack of 3 all with different themed hats. Autumn step card

Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my card, it took a while to make but I love making these scenery cards, it's so much fun. The girl is from DigiDarla Designs and the pumpkin cart is from Sandi's Samples, I loved colouring both with my copic markers. I have added a few photos of this card so you can see how I've created it (not sure if you want to know but just in case lol). There might be better ways out there as I am self taught at step and easel cards...

Halloween couple card

Hi, this is my 2nd Halloween card for today (thinking it's my last Halloween card but I feel I said that a few cards ago lol). The gorgeous digi couple is from Tiddly Inks (I have created a wedding card using them too as a bride and groom, watch this space as it's one of my favourite cards I've made so far!) This was difficult to photograph as it's a folding card behind the guy so I laid it flat on this first photo (bit blurry and couldn't switch off the flash) and the second is open a little but it looks much better in real life.

Tiddly Inks Witch/Fairy card

Hi, This is one of two Halloween cards I've made today. The gorgeous witch is from Tiddly Inks, I just bought her yesterday and couldn't resist colouring her straight away! I doodled the spider and web (I practised on a scrap piece first as I'm not much of an artist) but it seemed to go well with the image and was very easy to do.

Anniversary card

Not sure my hubby is going to think this is masculine enough for his anniversary card lol, but not to worry. One year I made him a card with the sentiment "I'd catch a grenade for you" because he hated that song hehe, so I guess I like to play around with him a little bit on our wedding anniversaries. 16th November will be our 16th year, I just don't know where the time has gone! I still love him more than ever!

The gorgeous little bear is from Di's Digi's, isn't he just the cutest? I've just recently used his brother with a top hat, I just love these bears!

Dinosaur card

Hi, thanks for coming by. I've made a card using some free dinosaur papers and stamps from a magazine and a fair bit of Flourish with a Bling. I have two large photos here so you can see more details. I fussy cut the larger dinosaurs and volcano out of the paper but the palm trees, leaves and smaller dinosaurs are coloured with copics. It took me a while to figure out how to make the folds and what to put where but I'm pretty pleased with it and most of all, my son loved it!

Guest Designer for Quirky Crafts

Good morning/evening,

I am a guest designer at Quirky Crafts this week, they have such a great challenge blog. This challenge is being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish who kindly sent me this gorgeous Squirrel digi to play. They have a sale on until Halloween so now's a perfect time to check out their goodies.
As Quirky Crafts challenge is Autumn colours and Anything but a card, I thought I'd make a door plaque. I glued the papers down onto MDF and added the ribbon where the papers join. I coloured the image with copic markers and finished it of with a Flourish with a Bling tree and fence!
