Digi Darla's Fall Friends card

Hi all, hope you're having as great a weekend as I am so far - Go the Mighty Hawks into the Grand final next week - Woohoo!! Lol, sorry for the outburst, hehe, we finally beat our arch-enemy team and I couldn't be happier.

How cute are the images from Digi Darla's that I've used on my card today. These are 2 different images but I thought they went well together so printed them as closely together as I could to make a little scene. I coloured the sky a little drearier than usual as she has an umbrella and its a Fall scene, I also made up the grass with copics. The gorgeous tree and leaves are from Flourish with a Bling and I got the apples from Live and Love Crafts, how cute are they too!

School boy clean and simple card

I was searching for school boy images when I came across this one as a freebie on Google, he's cute right? I thought he'd go perfect with the free book image from Tiddly Inks so I printed that out in two different sizes and curled them over for more of a 3D effect. I have used foam tape behind both the boy and the 2 books. I printed out the Happy Birthdays on my computer with a font called CK easy goin'.

Pink girly card

I'm off to see my Mighty Hawks hopefully win tonight (if they do they go on to our Grand Final next week - AFL Aussie Rules Football) so I'm rushing to get two posts published before I go so this will be quick! 

This girl is from Stitchy Bear and she's a little bit coloured in already. I went over her hair with my black and grey copics just so it was a bit brighter as it came out dull in my photos.

I have paper pieced again, it's so much fun! The large flower in the image and her dress and shoes are all paper pieced. Monkey Barrel card

I had a dilemna with this card, I thought I had made it a bit too fussy with my background so I chose to blacken it with my copic marker! I am showing both as I'm not sure which way I like it best, what do you think? I think I like it with the black background but my daughter prefers the messy background as she says that's what cheeky monkeys would like lol!!

The digi image is from Doodle Dragons, they were a lot of fun to color (but needed a few different shades of brown for this one!)

Saturated Canary Autumn girl card

Oh how I love Saturated Canary images (click on name to go to their website), they are some of the sweetest images going around. 

I paper pieced her dress, bow in hair and shoes. With the flowers in her pocket I used a white gel pen then went over some of them lightly with copics so they matched her outfit and the papers. I forgot how much I love paper piecing! I used pearls and the bling centred flower from Flourish with a Bling.

LCI Dog-walker card

Hi, me again, I just posted a card and I have another after this one, busy posting night tonight, poor hubby lol!! 

I have used a gorgeous image from Ladybug Crafts Ink, this girl's name is Nikki and she comes in a range of different images, digi and rubber stamps. Click on the store name to be taken there, they have such a great website with loads of different digis and other products.  

I created the sky with a homemade template of bumps lol and some blue chalk, very easy to do but I think it gives a nice outdoorsy look. I used a few different coloured copics to make the grass, trying to give it a realistic look, still learning so please don't judge hehe.

Jellypark Skater boy card

I created a boy's card today with an Autumn and Back to school vibe. The skater boy is one from Jellypark and you can't win him, he needs to be bought as 100% of the proceeds go to a charity called The Sick Children's Trust, he's only 1.25 pounds so I couldn't resist this little guy, he's so cute!

Bugaboo Teacher card

I love this image from Bugaboo Stamps and knew exactly what I wanted to put on the "notepage" as my son loves his teacher. We finish school in December as that's our summer holidays in Australia but I thought I may as well create the card early seeing as a few challenges are wanting back to school cards.

The blue pearls, flowers and leaves are all from Flourish with a Bling. I doodled around the image and card and shaded the image background with chalk.
