Summer Birthday card (Little Miss Muffet image)

Good morning Crafty Friends,

I love this image from Little Miss Muffet so decided I needed to print her out large. The "Summer" and stripes at the bottom is actually on acetate. I coloured her up to go with completely different papers but it was too much colour when I went to create with them so I totally changed it up keeping a simple white background so she and the other embellishments stand out. The sentiment was printed out on my printer and then I hand cut it.

Blue & Pink Birthday card (Saturated Canary image)

My second and last card to post tonight as it's midnight here and bedtime really. 

This lovely image can be found at Saturated Canary and to change up my colouring a bit I added a darker grey outline once I'd finished the image. I also distressed all the papers and added some Flourish with a Bling silver rhinestones & flourishes to finish it off.

Welcome Little One (Bugaboo image)

Hi crafty friends,

This is a sweet new image I have just chosen from Bugaboo stamps, straightaway I thought about how he would look on my cloud paper, he's just so cute! I have another Bugaboo image similar but with an elephant instead of monkey, I can't wait to use him in coming weeks too.

My favourite cards created by me in 2014

Hi there, I know I said that was my last post an hour ago but the lovely Wendy Nicola Jackson has tempted me into choosing my fave 12 cards of last year. Wendy has some blog candy and all the details on how to win it are HERE. And here is a picture of her candy too:

Doing this I just realised I created almost 300 cards last year!! Is that some sort of record haha??? I can't believe I made so many and the dumb thing is most of them are sitting here in my study cupboard as I don't know what to do with them all if they were not made for someone specific. I find colouring and cardmaking my "peace time", my therapy, I love it and I can't imagine not doing it anymore. I obviously need a lot of therapy hehe.

So how will I choose? I am just going to take a look around my card photo album so here goes:

That was difficult, I almost snuck in a 13th card hehe!! I hope you like my choices/cards I created this year. 

It is nice to look back at what we have created isn't it as I forgot about some of these when they were made earlier in the year so I've enjoyed looking back at them all, thanks Wendy!

Oooh, Yuck card (Crafts & Me/Hannah Lynn image)

My last card for today is this one using an image drawn by Hannah Lynn and can be found at Crafts and Me. I really enjoy colouring Hannah Lynn's images, they are really crazy cute. I doodled some little black loops onto the papers, I'm not sure how she got the little black marks on her face as they were there before I doodled but after I coloured her. Enjoy the Sparkle Christmas card (Faery Ink Designs image)

Hi crafty friends and Happy New Year!

It was a scorching hot day here in Victoria, Australia today so to be honest it feels a little strange creating winter cards but maybe it helps cool me down hehe. We are lucky enough to have air conditioned "everything" so as long as we stay inside or in the car we don't feel it too much. 

My card was created with a new image from Faery Ink Designs, how sweet is she with her little bunny? I couldn't wait to create a little scene with her so I used some Bo Bunny tree stickers and papers and created some snow mounds with some white glitter paper.

Di's Digi's New Challenge - Winter (Snowflakes, icicles etc) (Di's Digis image)

Happy New Year to you all! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and excited about 2015. 

I made this little gift voucher pouch for my sister as I was giving her a magazine subscription so didn't want to just give her the computer receipt, she liked it so that's good. It was also made for Di's Digis latest challenge which is Winter (snowflakes, icicles etc) - I made my falling snow with big dollops of my clear glue and then my fine glitter, it really glitters in real life but difficult to see that in the photo, the bg paper is also glittery. This is one of my favourite Di's Digis Christmas images, I don't often colour Santa but this one is just too cute for words. 

I have been colouring up a storm so will have quite a few cards to show you over the next week or so, I have another couple I'm adding to my blog tonight so hope you'll check them out, they're very girly hehe.
