Hi everyone,

I hope you've been having a great week and not enduring awful weather, we've been seeing some terrible snow storms on our news here and it doesn't look like much fun. 

Di's Digis challenge blog has a new challenge today and it is "Include a Heart", I hope you'll join in the fun, she's has such wonderful images to play with in her online store (to go there click on Di's Digis). Beautiful Fairy Birthday Card (A Day for Daisies image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Happy Australia Day! 

How sweet is this image from A Day for Daisies, I have been meaning to create with her for a long time as I printed her up ages ago but used it as my first attempt at watercolours and lets just say it didn't go well hehe. So I tried again with my trusted copics and now I think she looks very sweet in these colours. 

Here's a little tutorial on how I covered the 2 wooden hearts with the background papers - if you haven't tried this it is very easy - glue the paper to the wood item and once the glue has dried completely, sandpaper (I used a nail file so I could get into the top of the hearts easily) all the way around and it looks like it was made this way.

Birthday Balloon Girl (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Happy Australia Day! It is our national day of celebrating our wonderful country today and I must say, I'm pretty happy to be an Aussie.

I have created 2 really girly cards with the same Kaisercraft papers but still very different designs I think. This one is using a gorgeous image from Saturated Canary. I added a little doodling around the image, kind of like a balloon string. I have used this image before so have a photo of it below.

Winter Girl's Birthday Card (Bugaboo image)

I have loved reading the lovely comments you leave me and I love to hear when you buy an image because you have seen it on one of my cards, that always makes me so happy, just wanted you to know.

This little cutie is by Bugaboo. I added some die cut snowflakes, ribbon & my snowdrop specialty (some clear glue and clear fine glitter). Oh dear, I have just realised I have mistaken her ear for part of her hat hehe, my bad, will fix that.

I have created this card for my sister's partner using an image from Kenny K. I love this image as it suits so many males I know haha (they all love a beer don't they?). Although we're in Oz, he supports the USA's Green Bay Packers so I looked up their colours hence the colour combo (gosh I hope I got it right, anyone know hehe?) I think he'll appreciate that I went to the effort of doing it in his favourite teams colours if they're right.
