Hi crafty friends,

I thought I'd try out a snazzy new shape using my die cuts. This took me a while to arrange as I wasn't happy with it at first so I had to keep cutting/moving bits and now I love how it turned out! The gorgeous girl is from Make it Crafty and the shimmering flourish and teal pearls are from Flourish with a Bling. The papers are from Kaisercraft and the butterfly punch is a Martha Stewart one.

A Teddy Bear's Picnic Easel Card (Pink Gem Designs image)

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well and enjoying some sunshine.

I can't wait to show you all my new cards, I have 5 today! 

This first card I created as an easel card and kept it quite simple. I carefully cut the chevron paper, inked it and then layered it on top of scraps to give the bottom layer some added dimension. I love using scraps rather than foam tape when it is a larger area as it's good for the environment and cheap hehe! When I say scraps I mean the packaging of embellishments that is quite a sturdy paper so only requires a couple of layers.

The cute little image is from Pink Gem Designs and the Scrabble sentiment is from Ditzie Designs. The pearls are from Flourish with a Bling.

Dog with Balloons Mother's Day Card (Digi Darla image & Sentiment from 613 Ave Create)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I made this card for my mum for Mother's Day as she loves dogs. I am sad to say I don't think you can buy this image anymore as it came from Digi Darlas and the store is no longer open :(. 

I didn't realise I had so many coral type shades of Copic markers until I coloured the balloons, naughty me, they are all so similar hehe. I used the lovely scrabble free sentiment from 613 Avenue Create, isn't that sweet of them, I love freebies!

Work Out Girl (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I hope you all have a lovely Mother's Day to those of you celebrating it this weekend.

I don't often use my embossing folders even though I went through a stage that I thought I needed to buy a stack of them hehe!! So I have finally used one of my Spellbinders folders which is a brick style, once it was embossed I sponged over it with white ink so the "bricks" were a different shade to the "mortar". This gorgeous girl is from Saturated Canary and the alphas are from Ditzie Designs.

Girl with Bird Shabby Chic Card (Polka Doodles image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Happy Mother's Day to all the mums reading this.

I have been a bit quiet for the past week or so and now I have had an opportunity to create with some of the images I've been colouring lately. I love this girl from Polkadoodles, isn't she divine? I decided she needed a shabby chic card so I used Bo bunny papers, distressed and inked them up. I also inked the sign post and fence in my distress ink (Walnut Stain) as well as around the oval die. I have a few new cards to show today, I hope you enjoy seeing them all.
