Let's catch up card (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Ok, my latest card is using an image from one of my favourite digi stores, Saturated Canary. How gorgeous is she, being all ready to make a phone call with coffee and mobile in hand? I used a die cut for the banner sentiment, inking it before I took it out of the die. The hearts are wooden and I just inked them in pink too.

I have used part of a pink Chloe pearl flourish from Flourish with a Bling who are having an almighty sale this month! Just for you Bear with hearts (Stamp Fairy image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's my second card to show for the evening and it is using a cute little bear from the Stamp Fairy. Unfortunately I don't think they are around any longer but if anyone knows their store please let me know. 

I had a lot of trouble trying to find papers to match him so in the end I decided on a crisp fresh white background instead. This is my version of clean and simple hehe. He and the sentiment letters are all on foam tape to give a little extra depth to the scene.

I haven't blogged for the past week but I did manage to create some cards, just not always enough time in the day for posting them is there? I have tried and tried to take a good photo but this little card just wasn't having it so this is the best of the bunch I'm afraid.

I cherish you card (Crafts & Me/Hannah Lynn image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Although I've used similar colours in these 3 cards I've posted tonight, I think they all look quite different, especially this one. I was ultra-excited to colour up this beautiful image from Hannah Lynn (find her images at C&Me). The thing I most love about Valentine's Day themed cards is using red and pink together, its one of my favourite colour combinations in cardmaking.
