The Love Musician (Milk Coffee image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

One of my favourite times of the year to create cards is now, I love creating Valentine's Day, Easter and Spring cards (although it's soon Autumn here in Oz, I go by the challenge themes so Spring it is hehe).

I wanted to practise colouring clothing folds so I printed this gorgeous image out as it has loads of folds in the dress! I probably chose a tricky colour being black but I feel you can see where the folds are supposed to be so overall I feel I'm getting a bit better each time.

I'm unsure if this background qualifies for red and/or pink, what do you think? If I look for it to be red it is and if I look for it to be pink it is, it's kind of a raspberry colour.

Shaped girly card with balloons (All Dressed Up image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I had a challenge for a magazine of creating 7 cards with one 30x30cm sheet of patterned paper. So you may recognise this navy and teal paper in a few previous posts already. They are all very different cards so I was happy with my creations and it was less tricky than I expected.

I used a teal pearls and beautiful Elise flowers from Flourish with a Bling, my company, click on our name to go to our store if you'd like to check them out, they come in a range of colours.

I paper pieced the little girl's hat with the paper. I did attach string to the balloons but posted the cards to the magazine before I took a new photo. The balloon die was a free one with a magazine, I love it! You can find the sweet little image at All Dressed Up.

Love Hearts for sale card (Art By Miran images & Flourish with a Bling products)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I was honored to be asked to be a guest designer at Art by Miran this challenge. I chose these 2 beautiful girls (well, one's a fairy) to create a really lovey dovey card. If you'd like to see all Mi Ran's images please click HERE.

To create a card like this it is easier than it looks. I was inspired by another crafter (Katie K) who made an icecream stand card and she also gave a tutorial on her post so I will give you the link in case you'd like to try it - HERE. I also created a card last month using this same shaped card - click HERE to check it out.

I used a glossy tree, grass and toadstools from Flourish with a Bling.

Thank you so much Mi Ran for having me as your guest designer, I love creating with your gorgeous images.
