Hi Crafty Friends, My darling niece passed her driving learner's test last week so I made a card to celebrate. The image from Saturated Canary actually looks a bit like her so it was perfect for this card.

Hi crafty friends, I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I have a cute little dog image from Bugaboo to show you today. He's rather sweet isn't he? I used some already distressed looking paper so distressed the other papers and inked them to match. My mum loves dogs so I might surprise her with this card when I next want to show her how much I love her :)

Hi Crafty Friends, Here's my last card for tonight, thank you so much if you've checked all 5 cards out! I used an All Dressed Up image set and instead of colouring their outfits with Copics I decided to use silver, white and green embossing powders. I used a fine paint brush and my embossing ink refiller - to carefully paint on the embossing ink one colour at a time, add the powder and heat-set it before doing the next colour. I feel it was half successful in the end but I did have to go around the images with my fine black marker to define the outfits once totally dry. I think practice would make perfect so I will try again in the future.

Hi Crafty Friends, You may have noticed I have been playing with inking backgrounds more than patterned paper lately, I am loving playing around with the inks. I'm going to a craft show this weekend and can't wait to buy some oxide inks. I coloured and fussy cut a gorgeous mermaid from Crafts and Me. I also used a Lawn Fawn stamp and die set for the fish, coral and seahorse. I used some liquid pearls in the background too. I used glitter foam for the sentiment.

Hi Crafty Friends, You may think this looks somewhat familiar and that's because my last card had the same mixed media background paper as I made it then cut it in half so I could use it for 2 completely different themes - outer space and underwater. I've kept both cards clean and simple. Both the mermaid, worm & sentiment are all from Bugaboo.

Hi Crafty Friends, I have made a boys card for a change! I love this little guy from Bugaboo so I cut the rocket and stars out to add to the card. I created the "outer space" background with distress inks and water drops. I also added some vellum behind the rocket to help look like movement.

Hi Crafty Friends, I hope you're all well. I have a few cards to show tonight, I hope you'll check them out but no pressure hehe. I'm starting with this card that I created with a Little Miss Muffet image and cutting some sentiments from a paper pad, mounting them onto yellow cardstock and trying to make them look like they are hanging on the wall behind her like works of art.

As you like it- fave colour - Pink, I love pink on cards, especially pale pinks that goes so beautifully with so many other pastel colours.
