Di's Digi's New Challenge - Winter (Snowflakes, icicles etc) (Di's Digis image)

Happy New Year to you all! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and excited about 2015. 

I made this little gift voucher pouch for my sister as I was giving her a magazine subscription so didn't want to just give her the computer receipt, she liked it so that's good. It was also made for Di's Digis latest challenge which is Winter (snowflakes, icicles etc) - I made my falling snow with big dollops of my clear glue and then my fine glitter, it really glitters in real life but difficult to see that in the photo, the bg paper is also glittery. This is one of my favourite Di's Digis Christmas images, I don't often colour Santa but this one is just too cute for words. 

I have been colouring up a storm so will have quite a few cards to show you over the next week or so, I have another couple I'm adding to my blog tonight so hope you'll check them out, they're very girly hehe.

A Birthday Card for my Mum (DigiStamp Boutique image)

Hi crafty friends,

My mum's Birthday happens to be on Christmas Eve but we always make sure to keep it separate from Christmas (ie. Birthday cake, wrapping her presents in Birthday wrapping etc). My mum loves dogs so every year I make her cards with dogs on it and this is one of my favourite doggie images, he's from DigiStamp Boutique and isn't he just adorable? I'm not even a dog fan to be honest, the dogs barking in the neighbourhood drives me nuts but I can't resist the sweet images cos these don't bark hehe!

Christmas Mice (Di's Digis image)

Hi crafty friends,

I hope you all had a very happy Christmas and still enjoying the season (and the leftovers hehe).

I couldn't resist creating one more Christmas card using a gorgeous image from Di's Digis. Her Christmas images are just so unbelievably sweet, how cute is this one? I just had to colour it up hehe. I went with papers that you wouldn't necessarily think would work with the image but when I was trying to find papers to suit this one looked best to me.

Personalised Christmas Placecards (The Paper Shelter images)

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, we had perfect warm weather here in Oz so it was a lot of fun to play cricket outside and sit around in the sun without it being too hot (which meant we could also really enjoy our roast lunch hehe!)

We had my in-laws over for Christmas lunch so I made some placecards (16 of them!) using 2 images from The Paper Shelter. I typed all the names in red on the computer then printed them out on one sheet. I used my fancy label dies to create the personalised details and while the die was still attached to the label I lightly inked in red having it fade towards the names. I also used my clear globby glue for the snowflakes then glittered all over them, they look quite sweet in real life with all the glitter. Everyone took theirs home so I think they must have liked them.

Christmas Money Pouch for my Dad (Bugaboo image)

Hi everyone,

Christmas day is finally here and we are just waiting on our family to get here for a big feast and catch up. I made this gift pouch for my Dad who is already using his present as he bought it and was going to give it to me but never did haha! So now I'm putting $50 in this instead of just giving him $50, looks like I went to a bit more effort.
