Hi Crafty Friends,
I have some exciting news - I've started up a new blog for my embellishments company, I hope you'll come follow the new blog at Flourish with a Bling blog. We are giving away a prize pack once we have 50 followers and for every 50 followers after that - so if you're one of the first 50 you get a chance to win every time we get more followers! Please tell your friends too so you get to win quicker haha! We also have a freebie offer there too and lots of Valentine's Day inspiration.
I made this card for my darling husband for Valentine's Day, I hope he loves it. It's supposed to be me haha (I personally wouldn't cuddle a bat, I have a little more weight than this but otherwise spitting image haha, blue eyes, brown hair, it's all about how you see yourself isn't it!?!)
This was my first time creating a nighttime background with full moon and clouds with Copic markers, it took a while and I got very worried I'd ruined the picture for a bit and it finally came together okay so I would try it again some time, practice, practice...
You can find this utterly gorgeous image at Crafts and Me under Hannah Lynn's images.

It is cute. Don't cuddle the bat though. As you said......you wouldn't. I could see myself in one of Hannah Lynn's images. I just don't know that anyone else would recognize me. LOL!

ReplyDeleteWow, you made the sky with Copics? Amazing job, Lucy! Your card is gorgeous and I bet your hubby loved it! Bats are very scarce/near extinct around here now - they all died off due to some kind of fungus. The bug populations have gone crazy because there are no bats to eat them. The government is trying to repopulate our province with bats and I hope they are successful! I don't like bats but I definitely miss them - they do an important job! So keep cuddling the bat and appreciate them! Send some bats our way!
