Mother's Day Sprite card (Aurora Wings image)

Hi crafty friends,

Aurora Wings are giving us this gorgeous sprite to play with for free (not sure if it is still available), isn't that so generous of them, the image is so sweet! I loved using this colour combo, I always love using black as it seems to make the rest of the card pop. I used an old Fiskars grass border punch.

A little Sprite's Mother's Day wish (Aurora Wings image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Mother's Day this weekend here in Oz as with some other countries so wishing all the mums out there a very happy Mother's Day. I have my hubby out food shopping today so he can appreciate how boring a job that is every week, I even made him write the list, who knows what I'm going to be cooking all week haha!!

I have made a few Mother's Day cards for the occasion, I have used an Aurora Wings sprite image for this card.

Peach and Teal Shaped Card (Aurora Wings image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have a new card to show today and this time I have used a lovely image from Aurora Wings. I coloured her with copics and then used one of my peach copic markers to create a mottled effect behind the image. It was very easy to do, I scribbled lightly with it and then dotted the marker all over it being careful not to outline the image so it didn't look like I had gone around it.

I used some of my gorgeous Spellbinder dies that I don't often use but I really should use more often.

My Daughter Chloe's 15th Birthday card (Aurora Wings image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

My last card of the night to post, phew! I created this centre step card for my daughter's 15th Birthday which is about to happen tomorrow. I used a beautiful image from Aurora Wings and coloured it up with my Copics. I used a white paint pen to give her eyes a little "glimmer". I added some Chloe pearl flourishes that were actually named after my daughter as I designed them for my company, Flourish with a Bling (click on the name and it will take you to our store - little secret for my followers, we have a 50% off sale happening throughout April). I love how the card turned out, I hope she does too.

A Walk in the Park Birthday Card (Aurora image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

My last card to show today, I know I've gone crazy haha! I had coloured up all the images already and sorted papers to go with them so it took a lot less time to make them all seeing as half the job was already done. 

I bought new dies and I am so excited! I have used my Lawn Fawn dies here - the sun, clouds and a stitched landscape border, I love them! I have seen them in Blogland so many times on crafters' beautiful cards and thought I just had to have them so I finally went ahead with it. I also have used a gorgeous image from Aurora Wings and a chipboard bench from Scrapmatts.
