I have 3 cards to add to my blog tonight, so I'm definitely making up for lost time now hehe.

How sweet is this image from Conie Fong? I seem to be having trouble taking nice crisp photos of my cards where the white looks white, not sure why its happening but it's frustrating. I guess I need to go back to morning picture taking.

Baby it's cold outside (Art by Miran image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's seems quite funny creating this card in a wintry look seeing as we are sweltering today in well over 30 degrees in Melbourne, Australia! It's going to be 37 degrees tomorrow for Christmas day, Yukkk!! I hope some of you have better weather, I know USA is getting some freezing conditions, can't we all just have a happy medium hehe???

I used a gorgeous image I've been busting to colour for ages, isn't she divine? You can find her at Art by Miran.

Blue shabby rhinestone card (The Greeting Farm image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

This card is using a gorgeous image from The Greeting Farm, I have had her forever but still love this rubber stamp. For this card I used an embossing folder, something I don't actually get out and use very much although I love how everyone else seems to create so beautifully with them. Once I'd embossed the teal paper I lightly went over it with sandpaper so you can see the details better. 

I used some love heart stamps, snowflake die cuts and some Flourish with a Bling - Elise silver flourish, Elise white flower and silver rhinestones. Flourish with a Bling is selling all their products for $2 each this month, that's more than half off most products!! Thoughts of you on your Birthday (The East Wind image)

My last card for the night and doing something a little different with this one. I fussy cut the image out and made a "table" for her to sit at with her hot cocoa. She looks like she's thinking of someone so I decided to make a little letter to go with her like she's just read it and missing the person. Is this the story you see in the card hehe? I haven't created a true shabby chic card for a little while so I thought it was time. I have had this image printed for the longest time and have seen her coloured up so beautifully on other people's cards but I wasn't inspired to colour her myself for some reason. To be honest, I don't think I thought I'd do a very good job of it. But I'm really happy with how she turned out and how the whole card came together.
