Embossed Wedding Day Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

I embossed this paper to create the background and then added some pearls for a fun pattern. I printed up the sentiment on the computer.

Vintage style is definitely not my usual style (and neither should it be lol) but sometimes it's fun to try something new, especially for a wedding card.

On your wedding day card

Hi Crafty Friends,

I created this card for my sister and her new hubby originally but I really wanted to add their names to personalise it and I realised at the end that there was just nowhere it looked right on this card so I had to make a new one and I'll keep this one for another time as I really liked how it turned out. I've not made many wedding cards so I find it very difficult. Under the little white rose in the top right hand said "our" which is why I covered it and added some alphas to say "on your" instead.

Wedding card for my sister

I made this card for my sister and her new hubby for their wedding day. I tried to steer away from my usual "cute" cards and make it a little more sophisticated.

Red and Gold Wedding Bears (Marina Fedotova image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I thought this sweet image (Marina Fedotova) was perfect for a wedding card. As far as I can tell Marina's images are free to use but please let me know if this is not the case. 

I embossed the red cardstock with a "sprinkles" embossing folder which came free with a magazine then I heat embossed the raised bits with gold powder. I also heat embossed some gold powder onto the banner I made and also around the image itself.

Shaped Wedding card (Flat Friends image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I used a Flat Friend image (sadly no longer available) and printed it small enough so that it would fit into my polaroid die to look like a photo of the happy couple. I did some black doodling around the outside of the shaped card and cut the hearts from a fancy heart ribbon I had. The sentiment was printed from my computer.
