GDT for C.R.A.F.T. - Make backing paper

I am so excited to guest design for C.R.A.F.T. Challenge this month, they have some wonderful challenges and this one was no exception - make your own backing paper!

I decided to die-cut some green paper, ruled lines on it with a clear sparkle pen and going in the other direction I used a silver Smooch. I lightly chalked (in green) where the lines met to hopefully give it a little depth of colour. I then added the rhinestones for a little sparkle, hope you like it. I also made the two top flowers by punching some flowers and layering them.

The sponsors/prizes for this challenge are from LEJ Designs, Stitchy Bear Stamps, Saturated Canary (this girl is from SC) and Scrapper's Delights. Gee that's a lot of great sponsors in one challenge isn't it? Well worth entering their competition and I'd love to see what backing paper you create, I love being inspired!

FWAB used:
Silver rhinestones and Elise pink flower (the bottom one with bling centre)

Guest Designer card for Little Miss Muffet

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas filled with fun, laughter, presents, family and food!!

I have created another card for my December Guest Designer spot with Little Miss Muffet. This time I used three of their gorgeous girls to create my card. This was not my original plan but I overfilled one of my copics so when I opened the lid a huge ink splat hit my almost finished stamp, I was so upset. Then I realised all was not lost as I could use my old Fiskars template circles and cut out the good part. It just meant colouring 2 other cuties to add to the card. There really is no such thing as a mistake in crafting, just rearranging lol.

FWAB used:
Jack vine leaves and mini vine in Olive green
Red and Antique gold pearls

I am going to give this candy to one of my followers that comments on this blog post and adds the image of the prize to their blog sidebar (along with a link to this blog post), simple as that! Hannah Lynn CAS Christmas card

Oh how I love Hannah Lynn's digi stamps from Crafts and Me! This gorgeous digi is obviously a Halloween stamp but I decided to try and give her (and her little spider friend) a Christmas vibe, hope it worked lol.

I mounted the image on the red background then popped her down on the white card while looking for some papers to match her when I decided I thought she looked best without the fuss of designer papers. This is very unusual for me as most of you know, I love embellies and lots of details on my cards but I also love to try different things out of my comfort zone too.

I coloured her with copics and then glammed her up with some clear glitter pen. It was really difficult taking photos of this card, it looks so crisp and clean in real life, this was taken on top of my washing machine for the best lighting lol!

Hi there, I am giving away some Flourish with a Bling candy, if you'd like the chance to win it click here. It finishes on Thursday 20th December and I will announce the winner on Friday!

Who loves Christmastime? I do, it's such a special time of year, I grew up in England (until I was 10) where it was cold at Christmas but have lived in Australia for 31 years where Christmas falls in the middle of summer! It took a long time to adjust and I would love to enjoy a white Christmas again one day.

No wonder I am able to post all these cards today as it's 37 degrees outside!!! So hot I'm not stepping foot out the front door until I absolutely must for my daughter's dancing concert tonight.

My card today is made with a gorgeous little Tiddly Inks digi, she actually comes with a snowman too! I printed the sentiment from my computer. The lovely papers are from Echo Park.
