Tiddly Inks Brown and Blue Christmas

Hi Crafty friends,

For all those celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend, I hope you have a lovely time, it always sounds so wonderful and makes me desperately want to join an American family for a Thanksgiving one day lol.

I love this little girl Wryn from Tiddly Inks and she even comes with her own special snowman! I have used some beautiful Bo Bunny papers from last year's range, Bo Bunny is one of my favourite paper ranges. The brown bling-centred flower and teal and pearl coloured pearls are all from my company, Flourish with a Bling. I used some Fluffy Stuff on Wryn's "fluffy" areas of her outfit and then again on the ground for a snow effect.

Paper Crafting Journey's new challenge is all about Bling!

Hi Crafty friends,

I love Christmas and everything about it, it always feels like such a magical time even if it is in the middle of Summer here in Australia. I was born in England and spent my childhood growing up with cold Christmases so it never feels exactly the same when we're trying to eat a roast turkey in 40 degree heat lol!

Anyway, onto the challenge at Paper Crafting Journey this fortnight and the theme is Bling! Too easy right? The sponsor and the image I've used is from Digistamps 4 Joy. I really enjoyed using this unique image, her dress is actually coloured with a clear sparkling gel pen but very difficult to see in the photo, it looks a beautiful champagne colour so I'm happy I didn't do my usual copic colouring. I used fine gold glitter on her dress and star chain and some white glitter on the top of the card. The sentiment is a rub-on and I thought it went well with the little scene I've created. I added Flourish with a Bling pearls to the Christmas tree and a metal star.

Hi Crafty friends, I sliced my finger while crafting today with my craft knife so it's made it almost impossible to type (luckily it was my left index finger and not my right one so I was able to keep cardmaking, there's always a bright side lol). Bugaboo and Cinderella love shoes!!

Hi Friends,

I was so happy to see another 2 crafty friends started following me over the weekend, I'm almost at 200! I love sharing my cards on here as it's so nice to receive feedback and it makes it more exciting when creating a card knowing other crafties might like to see it.

I created this card with a Bugaboo image and sentiment, they are hilarious aren't they and I just couldn't resist this funny one! I used some sparkling silver glitter paper and the patterned paper is by Bo Bunny, one of my favourite paper companies. I glitter embossed a chipboard high heel shoe and used leaves and bling from Flourish with a Bling.

A Baptism card
