Hi Crafty Friends,

How lovely is this image from Cute as a Button? I have distressed and inked the edges of most of the papers and embossed the bluey/lilac paper with one of my embossing folders that has just been sitting around collecting dust, not good when I just "HAD" to have it so badly 6 months ago! Do you also do that, buy something and then not use it?

 I have used a combo of pearls and the lilac flower are all from Flourish with a Bling.

Oh how I wish it was summer here, it's so cold here in Oz at the moment as we are smack bang in winter! I love creating summery cards at this time of the year though as it reminds me that Spring is on its way soon and that's my favourite time of year.

I haven't used an image from The East Wind for ages and I am so happy to have finally coloured this sweetie up as she's gorgeous! I added her to some Echo Park papers.

Blue Rose Birthday Card (Bugaboo Stamps image)

I made this card for my lovely Nan who lives in England and is 92 years old this Birthday. Her favourite colours are pink and blue so I printed this flowery image in blue and found papers to match. The sentiment was created on the computer using a free font and the gorgeous rose images are from Bugaboo.

Walking on Sunshine Card (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I hope you're all enjoying the start of your weekend.

I thought I would try something new for me which is printing the image straight onto my card front. I have seen others do it before and it looks great but I'm not quite so thrilled with mine. The photo shows the card looking very wonky but it isn't. I couldn't leave the background white so I inked yellow around the card. The image is from Saturated Canary.

Masquerade Ball Card (Scrapper's Delights image)

Hiya,

Just a quick post from me before I go to bed and this card was inspired by the Scrapper's Delights image which I fussy cut out and foam taped. I embossed the yellow cardstock and used some corner die cuts and a border punch.

No Lines Little Girl Card (Ppinky Dolls image)

I have been creating up a storm recently, it feels so great to have a bit of extra time to craft again. 

This is the first time I have coloured up a Ppinky Dolls image and I must admit I was a little worried as I'm a little heavy-handed with my Copics sometimes and these images require more of a delicate touch so I am very proud of my restraint hehe. I used an embossing folder that I just received as a bonus with a magazine and I think it has to be one of my favourites, I love it! I have used 2 lovely flowers from Flourish with a Bling.

Here's a card I have created using a Bugaboo digi which I thought would be good with lots of colours. I used some Dimensional Magic on the balloon but you can't really tell from the photo but in real life it looks glossy :)
