Guest Designer at Imagine That Creative Playground Blog - Summer card

Hi Crafty Friends,

I was lucky enough to win a guest designer spot at Imagine That Creative Playground blog. They have such gorgeous images I was honored to play with their digital images, backgrounds, papers and sentiment sets. 

I had a lot of fun creating this card. I used the PNG files so I could move the items around on the beach to suit my card. I made the girl on the card the same size as a black & white version so I could colour her and her towel myself, fussy cut her and paste onto the scene. I added the PNG sentiment that comes along with it too before printing. This background is so versatile, you can use it with any beachy images so it's definitely worth buying this set. You're the sweetest - girl on the beach card (The Paper Shelter image)

I had some fun with my distress oxide inks to create my beach scene. I added some Stickles for the sea froth. The cute image comes from The Paper Shelter. The boat is a silver charm.

Red, white & Blue sandcastle girl (DigiStamp Boutique image)

Hi crafty friends,

I loved colouring up this sweet girl from DigiStamp Boutique. It's the middle of winter here in Australia but I love creating summer cards for the challenges, it makes me feel a little warmer hehe. I doodled on the stitching with my white marker pen.

Beachy Best Wishes card (Hannah Lynn/Crafts & Me image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I've been out of action a little this month but I'm back now and I'm loving every second creating again. I bought myself a new craft desk and I feel much more organised.

The three cards I'm posting today are very different from each other, I hope you like them all, this is very muted, girly and a little mature/shabby, the other is very cute and bright using distress oxide inks and then I have another girly card but it's bright and cheery.

This gorgeous image is from Hannah Lynn at Crafts and Me, I have created with her once before so I've added the card below. I used some stamps and dies from a free magazine set, that would be the shells, starfish and seahorse. I coloured the girl with Copics. The papers are from Kaisercraft.

I'm a Guest Designer at Digital Delights (Digital Delights image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I am very excited to be a guest designer at Digital Delights by Louby Loo this challenge. Their images are oh-so-adorable and this sweet one below is called Beach Babe Britt, but you can find all the images HERE. I gave her some shimmery bathers and hat but difficult to see in the photo and I also used some Glossy Accents on the glasses and beach ball. I created the background using distress inks and then dabbing on white liquid pearls in lines to make it look like sea foam. The clouds and sun are dies from Lawn Fawn.
