HoHoHo Christmas card (Bugaboo image)

Hi everyone,

I have been very behind with my blogging this last month, I don't know where the time is going? We went on a lovely cruise for our wedding anniversary last month, boy did we have a lovely 9 days away from the world hehe, it really is like being on another planet.

Thank you so much to Wendy, Carol and Kitty for checking in on me, that was so sweet of you all.

I have been lucky enough to be creating a few cards for an Australian magazine but of course, I can't show them until they appear in the magazine, but no fear I have a few that aren't for the magazine to show today hehe. I have been busy creating Christmas cards for friends and family - this one is for my in-laws who have our niece and nephew so I thought this Bugaboo image was perfect! I glossed the HoHoHo with Dimensional Magic.

Autumn Girl Card (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

This is my 5th and final card to show for tonight. I created this card today although I had coloured the gorgeous Saturated Canary image up a couple of weeks ago. I then decided to get a bit artsy with the background of the image and so it is a mix blend of copic markers and distress inks. I also distress inked the background paper with some brown/reds.

I love my new "dangly jewels" I bought at a recent craft show. The blingy flower and antique gold pearls are from Flourish with a Bling.

Sparkly blue Merry Christmas card

Hi Crafty Friends,

I went to a craft show the other week and they were showing how to create this winter scene and I fell in love with the stamp so had to buy it and the Kaleidoscope ink pad too hehe!! I was quite excited to find I could create the scene very close to how they did and it was easier than it looks! This is going to be my go-to Christmas card design for most of my friends and family this year so I'm not sure you'll see many Christmas cards from me this year.

Metal Birthday card for hubby

Hi Crafty Friends,

I'm back with my 2nd card of the night and this is a bit different to what I usually make. I couldn't find a good male digi that I hadn't already used for my hubby so I decided to make a non-image card. I did stamp the sentiment and embossed it silver. I think the rest of the card is self-explanatory hehe. Always feel free to email me or leave a comment asking questions if you ever have any.

My Pink & Red Witch card (Crafts & Me/Hannah Lynn image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I can't believe it's been almost a month since I last posted, that has not happened in over 3 years!! I don't know where the time is going at the moment, I have made a few cards and I am going to post them all tonight (5 in total). I am not keeping up with all the challenge blogs at the moment so at least it is quicker to post on my blog :)

I hope you all had a spooky but wonderful Halloween if you celebrate it. It is getting so much more popular here in my little corner of the world (Melbourne, Australia) that we ran out of chocs within about 30 minutes!!

Anyway, onto my card and I love using this gorgeous image from Hannah Lynn (can be found at Crafts and Me). I have created 4 cards now with her so I've added my previous cards below. This is the first time I have used non-Halloween colours.

Enjoying the Rain Birthday card (Cute as a Button image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Does this weather look familiar hehe? Not here in Oz today, we have a beautiful 27 degree day, the sun is shining, Spring is well and truly here thank goodness!

What do you think of my new look blog? It has taken me most of the evening to try and figure it all out. I can't seem to make my blog posts white even though I have saved it as white! I have made the card photos a little smaller but click on the photo to enlarge it.

I loved colouring this sweet image from Cute as a Button called Enjoying the Rain. My sister didn't want this cloud paper so I happily took it as I thought it would go beautifully with the raining images I have. One person's trash is another person's treasure as they say hehe! Lucky me.

Fall is in the air card (PolkaDoodles image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

This is only the second time I have created a card using an image from Polkadoodles but I'm sure it won't be my last, I love their images! I have gone a little distressed/shabby chic on this card and also used one of my new dies - the little sign posts.

I have also used some olive green pearls and grass from my company, Flourish with a Bling who have a huge sale on (see below for details).
