Painting Hearts Mother's Day card (Tiddly Inks image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

This is my last card to show for the day and probably my last Mother's Day card for this year. This gorgeous image comes from Tiddly Inks. I love brown and pink together so decided to mount the image and paper onto kraft paper. I added ribbon threading it through the lace.

A Teddy Bear's Mother's Day card (Bentley Bear image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's another card for Mother's Day, I received this stamp as a freebie with a magazine, how cute is it? The brand is Bentley Bear and it came in a set of 4. As always I coloured the image with Copic markers. I wanted to give the ribbon a relaxed feel rather than a rigid line so I scrunched it when I put it on the paper (having some double sided tape and a little glue on the card).

Vintage gold Mother's Day card

Hi Crafty Friends,

I know this is quite unusual from me, no cute image on the card but I thought I'd try a different style, I do like mixing it up. I created this card for my mother-in-law. I used a gorgeous embossing folder for the bottom of the card and added antique gold pearls and brown flowers from my company Flourish with a Bling.

A little Sprite's Mother's Day wish (Aurora Wings image)

It's Mother's Day this weekend here in Oz as with some other countries so wishing all the mums out there a very happy Mother's Day. I have my hubby out food shopping today so he can appreciate how boring a job that is every week, I even made him write the list, who knows what I'm going to be cooking all week haha!!

Hi and Welcome card (Polkadoodles image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Sometimes an image gives you ideas and inspiration to use it in a different way like this and I love it when that happens to me. I had coloured this gorgeous image from Polkadoodles not knowing how my card would look and then I decided to create a type of scene and I think it's turned out really cute (if I do say so myself hehe). She is such a sweetie isn't she? I die cut a planter and added some flowers & hearts to it. I embossed white cardstock with my brick folder then inked over it in the mint and pink so the "bricks" look coloured.
