Bright Mermaid Shaker Card (Bugaboo image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

You may have seen I created my first shaker card the other day, well now I'm well and truly hooked! Only problem is I've run out of foam tape now hehe! So I'm waiting for some more in the post from Ebay and I'll be on my way again, they're so much fun! I still have to perfect them, some little bits keep falling out, oops. Shaped Wedding card (Flat Friends image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I used a Flat Friend image (sadly no longer available) and printed it small enough so that it would fit into my polaroid die to look like a photo of the happy couple. I did some black doodling around the outside of the shaped card and cut the hearts from a fancy heart ribbon I had. The sentiment was printed from my computer.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge - love and romance
AllSorts - fancy bows and ribbons (hearts cut out of felt ribbon and netting)
C.R.A.F.T. - inspired by a film - Peggy Sue got married

Yellow & Red Birthday card (Polkadoodles image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Oh how I love this image, she is so sweet! You can find her at Polkadoodles. I love layering some bright papers over each other, mounting them on black cardstock to really make the card pop. Once I'd finished it I really felt like it still needed something more so I faux stitched with my doodle pen.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Crafting from the Heart -  anything goes
Creative Craft Cottage - favourite colour combo - red & yellow

Snorkelling shaker card (Scrapper's Delights image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Can you believe I've created over 900 cards and this is my first shaker card? I absolutely loved doing this but it wasn't quite as easy for me as the lady I watched on Youtube hehe! I used some large glitter and some sea items as well as the gorgeous little snorkeler from Scrapper's Delights. I added a flatter foam tape to him so that he still stood out but not as far as the front of the card (if that makes sense?) I love this bubble paper for the background as it looks like its coming from his snorkel doesn't it?

A Mermaid's wish (Elaine Cox image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Out of the 4 cards to show you tonight 3 of them are male cards, that is so unlike me! Anyway, hopefully this is girly enough to make up for the lack of female cards today. I coloured up a beautiful image from Elaine Cox (I don't have a link as I won this through Sweet Pea Stamps that are now closed). I love using cheesecloth material with mermaids, it just seems like an ocean type item somehow.

Our Hero (Bugaboo image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I had my hubby in mind when I created this cute card. I used another Bugaboo image and then used my dies to create a polaroid of a city. This ended up quite fiddly as I needed to make the "windows" yellow like there are lights on so a bit of fussy cutting required but I like the end result. I thought the blue paper with white dots looked like snow. I embossed the red cardstock too. Lastly some faux stitching was required.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge - weather (snowing)
Catch the Bug - anything goes
C.R.A.F.T. - inspired by a film - Superman
Crafting by Designs - Once upon a time (a superhero story)
Crafty Calendar - Father's day/for a male
Creative Moments - anything goes with optional: stitching
Inky Chicks - Father's day/male cards
Jo's Scrap Shack - Father's Day
Julia Spiri - anything goes with optional: CAS
Little Miss Muffet -  anything goes
Not Just Cards - anything goes
The Paper Shelter - sentimental
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges - use your fave embellishments - die cuts
Ribbon Girl - any card
Simon Says Stamp (Wed) - Father's day/for a guy
Sweet Stampin' - Father's Day or for a special man

As always, thank you so much for dropping by and extra special thanks to my lovely followers and visitors that leave some beautiful comments for me, they warm my heart.
