Bright girly card (Little Miss Muffet image)

Hi there,

Here's a card I made for a magazine feature where I had to create a sketch. I love Little Miss Muffet images so I decided to create the card with one of their gorgeous little Polka Dot girls. I also took the opportunity to use some of my company, Flourish with a Bling's products, that's where you can find the sweet toadstools and grass.

Happy 21st Birthday Tahlia (Hannah Lynn/Crafts & Me image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

My girlfriend's gorgeous daughter is turning 21 in a couple of weeks and it's a masquerade party. I found out she's wearing white and gold (the 2 hardest colours to try and colour haha!) so when I saw this new image from Hannah Lynn (find it at Crafts and Me) I just had to buy it and try my best at colouring it to match my friend's daughter. Hopefully you see the image wearing white and gold rather than grey and yellow hehe. I then coloured the background with my black Copic marker. I also used a lot of dies on this card and gold heat embossed on the sentiment/tags. I have a close up below, click on it for extra enlargement.

Red and Gold Wedding Bears (Marina Fedotova image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I thought this sweet image (Marina Fedotova) was perfect for a wedding card. As far as I can tell Marina's images are free to use but please let me know if this is not the case. 

I embossed the red cardstock with a "sprinkles" embossing folder which came free with a magazine then I heat embossed the raised bits with gold powder. I also heat embossed some gold powder onto the banner I made and also around the image itself.

Rocker Girl card (The Paper Shelter image)

Hi guys,

This image is from The Paper Shelter, I thought I'd colour her up in Halloween colours as she looks a little rocker girl/goth looking. I used some Lawn Fawn frame dies and the larger "white" lines are white ribbon. I doodled the black outlines around the image and around the black cardstock. As you can see below, I've coloured up this image below years ago, I think my Copic colouring has improved a little since then, I enjoy comparing when it's something I've coloured before.

Baby Girl Birthday wishes card (Precious Moments image)

Here's a little card I made for a baby girl's 1st Birthday. I used a free image from Precious Moments colouring pages online. I have also made a matching boy's one I will show later in the week as this was for twins - a boy and girl. The papers are from Echo Park.

Sending Fairy wishes (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I'm so happy to be back in Blogland after over a month off. I was overseas on a European family trip of a lifetime, it was absolutely wonderful and we had such a great time. 

So now I'm back and I have a few cards to show you. This one is created with a Saturated Canary image, isn't she sweet? I've noticed Saturated Canary have now closed since I've been away which is such a shame, I'm glad I bought a few more images before I left.

Just taking a short break
