I was asked to make a card for the birth of twin girls and this sweet little image from Di's Digis came straight to mind. The papers are a baby girl kit from Echo Park.

My favourite cards I've created in 2016

Hi everyone,

Deep Ocean's challenge this time is to choose your own favourite creation of 2016 that you made throughout the year. Wow, this is always tough as there are always a few I am really proud of and can't decide hehe. So I have had to choose one and this is it. I made the card especially for my girlfriend's darling daughter who turned 21 and was having a masquerade party. She was wearing white and gold so I tried to colour the image so it looked a bit like her:

I wonder if you agree or if you think one of these cards is better, I'd love to hear what you think :)

 

I have been checking out more Youtube videos and colouring tutorials so I'm very excited to show my new colourings once I've made them into cards. I have been doing fairly regular work in Australian magazines this year so I think 2017 is going to be a very creative fun year for me, fingers crossed! I hope I can continue to inspire you as you all do for me as well, I love the crafting world!

Baby it's cold outside (Art by Miran image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's seems quite funny creating this card in a wintry look seeing as we are sweltering today in well over 30 degrees in Melbourne, Australia! It's going to be 37 degrees tomorrow for Christmas day, Yukkk!! I hope some of you have better weather, I know USA is getting some freezing conditions, can't we all just have a happy medium hehe???

My brother-in-law is the Elf haha! (Jellypark image)

I have had for years some store-bought Christmas cards that you slot a photo of your family into. I thought it was about time I used these as they are a great idea for something different. But apparently my new brother-in-law was asking where the homemade card was and wasn't pleased with my photo card, even turned it around so our photo was facing the wall haha! So I have made him his very own Christmas card and will be giving it to him tonight, I hope this shuts him up hehe! The image was from Jellypark who are no longer around.
