We mermaid for each other mixed media card (Lawn Fawn stamps)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I had some fun playing with my distress inks again, I think they go perfectly with an underwater scene. I used some gorgeous stamps from Lawn Fawn. I have the dies too so it was easy to die cut them all out and then move them around on the card until I was happy with the placement of everything.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

As you like it - Fave skin/fur colours - I use Copics E50, E51, E53 plus a little blush on their cheeks using E93 as this combo is quite warm, it gives them a little bit of a tan more than a pink glow.
Crafty Friends - use summer colours
Inspiration Destination - anything goes
Pammie's Inky Pinkies -  anything goes
Paper Creator's Crafts - bright and bold
Ribbon Girl - use any image
Send a smile 4 kids - bright colors for kids
Stamping Sensations - butterflies, fairies and fantasy (fantasy)

Have a great day,

Penny Farthing Male Birthday card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's something a little different from me. I have been watching YouTube videos of Jennifer Maguire and she has the most amazing ideas! This card was inspired by one of her posts.

I taped off the white cardstock the width of my tape on each side so I would have a perfect square frame (without having to measure anything!) then I used my new Distress Oxide Ink in Fossilized Amber all over the centre of the white paper. I added white Perfect Pearls after inking to give it a gorgeous gold type shimmer then embossed the card panel with my new Wave embossing folder from WRMK. I heat embossed the bicycle with bronze embossing powder and also scribbled some embossing ink then bronze powder to make the ground. I used my new Lawn Fawn sentiment stamps and dies for the sentiment so it would match. I hope my hubby doesn't read this post to see all my new goodies I just bought at a recent craft show and online shopping hehe!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge - for the boys/men
Cards and More - Father's Day/cards for men (stamped sentiment)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I've gone from dog, to cats and now little baby dragons hehe! This is my last of the animal cards but I still have a few cards to post, I hope you find inspiration in one of them.

This is such a beautiful little scene from Tiddly Inks, I do wish I'd used different colours and perhaps made the image larger but I will definitely use this image again one day so will go in a completely different way with it next time. I used a shimmery sun from Flourish with a Bling too.

Hi Crafty Friends,

I just showed a dog card so for all those cat lovers, here's one for you hehe (here's looking at you Kitty). I love these cats from Sami Stamps, aren't they sweet? I coloured them all up with my Copics, die cut a Lawn Fawn stitched frame propped up with foam tape and popped black cardstock and all the kitties under, the cats all have foam tape under them too.

I Wuf You Puppy dog card (Tiddly Inks image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have quite a few cards to post quickly today, I have been a bit slack posting them on my blog this week, oops! Some will have more details on how they were created but ones like this are pretty self-explanatory. I did use a homemade cloud template and distress inks to create the cloudy background. The gorgeous little pup comes from Tiddly Inks.

Hexagon Rainbow Mother's Day card No.2

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's the opposite Mother's Day card to the one I just showed. How great is it when you can create 3 cards from one sheet of inked up/die cut paper? I love this one best but I was really happy with how both turned out considering I didn't like my ink blending on the thin watercolour paper I used. Once I'd peeled off the die cut the hexagons were all left in the die so I put down a double sided adhesive sheet onto cardstock then put the die cut over the top and pushed each hexagon onto the adhesive so they stuck, it was so easy! I had to find a couple of the little bottom and top hexagons. Then I added glitter to the white adhesive bits. You can see in the second photo how the two cards look side on. This one was my favourite of the two so we gave it to my Mother-in-law who loved it.
