Girl with Birthday Banner card (Polkadoodles card)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I'm making up for lost time here as I haven't posted for a week or so but I have been creating a few cards. I have 3 to show today and they are all super girly, my favourite kind hehe.

This one was created using a gorgeous little girlie from Polkadoodles. I don't think I have ever created a card with this colour combination before, it's always nice to try something new although it won't be to everyone's taste.

Basketball shaker card (Bugaboo image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I couldn't help myself, I had to create another shaker card hehe! I couldn't wait for my foam tape to arrive in the post so I bought some more at one of the local shops. 

This card is for a basketball star in the making and the cute little boy is from Bugaboo. I inked up some wooden stars to add to the outside of the card and the frame was embossed with a wooden embossing folder. I masked the green background paper and inked it with a more olive green to compliment his clothing.

Best Buddies Birthday card (Melonheadz images)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Aren't these two little boys cute? You can find them at Melonheadz. I printed them close to each other but they are 2 separate images. I wish I had cut the bit inbetween them but I had already added dimension behind them before I realised doh! This cool paper from Bo Bunny was perfect for their background, I just had to fussy cut from the pathway to add my green cardstock for "grass".

Bright Mermaid Shaker Card (Bugaboo image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

You may have seen I created my first shaker card the other day, well now I'm well and truly hooked! Only problem is I've run out of foam tape now hehe! So I'm waiting for some more in the post from Ebay and I'll be on my way again, they're so much fun! I still have to perfect them, some little bits keep falling out, oops. I used another image from Bugaboo for this card.

Shaped Wedding card (Flat Friends image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I used a Flat Friend image (sadly no longer available) and printed it small enough so that it would fit into my polaroid die to look like a photo of the happy couple. I did some black doodling around the outside of the shaped card and cut the hearts from a fancy heart ribbon I had. The sentiment was printed from my computer.

Yellow & Red Birthday card (Polkadoodles image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Oh how I love this image, she is so sweet! You can find her at Polkadoodles. I love layering some bright papers over each other, mounting them on black cardstock to really make the card pop. Once I'd finished it I really felt like it still needed something more so I faux stitched with my doodle pen.

Mowing the garden is such a joy (Bugaboo image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's not Father's Day here in Oz until September but seeing as most countries celebrate it this month I decided to get mine done early so come Father's Day I'll have all the cards I need for it.

This card is for someone who loves to mow the lawn, I'm not sure its suitable for anyone I know hehe but perhaps an avid gardener may appreciate it. You can find this guy at Bugaboo and the gorgeous tree at Flourish with a Bling.

Snorkelling shaker card (Scrapper's Delights image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Can you believe I've created over 900 cards and this is my first shaker card? I absolutely loved doing this but it wasn't quite as easy for me as the lady I watched on Youtube hehe! I used some large glitter and some sea items as well as the gorgeous little snorkeler from Scrapper's Delights. I added a flatter foam tape to him so that he still stood out but not as far as the front of the card (if that makes sense?) I love this bubble paper for the background as it looks like its coming from his snorkel doesn't it?
