I'm a Guest Designer at Crafting by Designs (Jade Dragonne image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I am honored to be a guest designer at Crafting by Designs for their new challenge. It's a lovely girly theme of "Flowers and Pearls". I used a lot of pearls to make this shaker card, some inside, some outside in flourishes. It's winter here in Oz so very difficult to take nice photos sometimes, I took a million shots of this card and this is the best of 'em! The image is a free one on the internet from Jade Dragonne.

Sailor Girl card (Cute as a Button image)

Hi crafty friends,

I was published!!! I was asked to do a set of cards using Cute as a Button images for an Australian magazine called Australian Papercraft Essentials. One of my cards was the "covergirl" hehe, I was so excited! I think I mentioned it to you back in January when the magazine came out but I wasn't allowed to show the cards until now. There's a picture of the cover below.



So here's one of the cards I made using a Cute as a Button image, isn't she devine? I used some "screw" brads and some Flourish with a Bling "water drops" from the Up in the Sky set.

I wish this was my summer selfie! (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Oh how I'd love to look like this in a bikini hehe, those days are gone sob sob. I used my new Lawn Fawn frame die and I used some foam tape to give it height. I have had this floral paper for the longest time, I have way too many patterned papers that are beautiful and all sitting in pizza boxes hidden under more papers. I keep telling myself not to buy more but occasionally I just can't help myself if I see really loves new ones hehe. So I'm really pleased I have gotten around to using these ones anyway as they are a lovely colour combo. The image is another gorgeous one from Saturated Canary.

To the hottest Grandma card (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

My darling friend is going to be a Grandma, I can't believe it!! We met in high school and have been buddies ever since and now she tells me her baby is having a baby! (He's a 26yo man mind you so well entitled to have one haha). She seems so young but I guess we are 45, I don't know where the time goes. 

So anyway the reason for my weird card is that she doesn't know what she wants the baby to call her so I used Google Translate to see what I could find in different languages and hence all her choices on the front of the card hehe. She loved it! I used Echo Park papers and Saturated Canary image.

Making Sandcastles on your Birthday (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I couldn't resist Saturated Canary's 40% off sale the other weekend hence a few Saturated Canary cards lately hehe. I especially love all the summer themed images especially while it's freezing cold here in Australia ...well not "freezing" compared to some country's winters but trust me, it does get chilly down in Melbourne in July! Fun Fun Fun!!! (Melonheadz images)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Put your sunnies on, this one is a very bright and cheerful card hehe. I printed and coloured some cute little Melonheadz images then fussy cut them. I made the images different sizes before printing so some could appear closer than others. The papers are from Bo Bunny.
