I'm a Guest Designer at 613 Avenue Create!

Paper Crafting Journey's new challenge is up!

Bugaboo funny gardener card

Hi, I hope you're having a great weekend, mine is over as it's almost Sunday midnight here in Australia so I better rush to get to bed.

I have made a funny card today using a gorgeous Bugaboo image, I love these funnies and will be sharing more of them in the near future. I thought my mother-in-law who loves gardening would get a kick out of this one and it's her Birthday in October so I'm glad to have made it in plenty of time.

How beautiful is the vine? I designed this product for my company Flourish with a Bling and we named it Jack after Jack and the beanstalk. Precious Moments Congratulations card

Hi everyone!

My card is made with a Precious Moments image, thought it was cute for an engagement or wedding. I coloured these images a long time ago hence a few issues with his shirt & jeans etc lol but I then used some Dimensional Magic on them so they are glossy.

Cali girl card

One of my favourite artists is Hannah Lynn, this is one of her images (image name is Cali Girl), isn't she a beauty? You can buy them at Crafts & Me (click on name to be taken to the store).

I am also using a favourite embellishment on this card too, a Flourish with a Bling Jack vine in olive green. It also comes in green, forest green and black (click on red name to be taken to the store). I made the background paper with cardstock, texture paste, ink and a brick wall template. It's very difficult to see it's a "brick" feature on this card as I have layered over most of it but I like the overall shabby/distressed effect.

Elisabeth Bell lounge room card

Hi there, Paper Crafting Journey have just started their latest challenge and it's one of my favourites - Pearls and swirls. The sponsor is none other than the fabulous Elisabeth Bell therefore we got to play with an Elisabeth Bell image this time round. Straight away this gorgeous crafty girl image felt like it should be part of a little scene and I have wanted to try making "wallpaper" on a card for ages as so many designer papers have a wallpaper pattern to them. I made the little frame and plant pot with some wood-printed paper and distressed their edges.

Flourish with a Bling/Scrapmatts Product Swap & Giveaway!

Hi and welcome to the final Day (day 10) of the Flourish with a Bling / Scrapmatts product swap, I'm so delighted to be a part of this partnership of products, bling and chipboard compliment each other perfectly!

My card has been created using FWAB's Chloe olive green flourish, Jack olive green vine and Scrapmatt's birds and bird cage. The papers are from Bo Bunny and I have distressed the edges. The birdcage has been covered in Smooch pearlized accent ink and then a clear coat of Papertole 3D gloss. The birds were inked using VersaMagic "Hint of pesto" chalk ink and then also given a coat of the Papertole 3D gloss. I ever so lightly sanded the birdcage and birds once dry to give them a little shabbiness. I added the single olive green pearls to the Chloe flourish so the birdcage could "hang" from the swirls.
