Friends Forever CAS Card (All Dressed Up images)

Hi to all my crafty friends and anyone new to my blog,

I'm sure most of you wouldn't have noticed I've been absent in Blogland (so sweet of Carol and Jennifer Scull to check on me) but I'm back with a vengeance now hehe. We went on a beautiful family cruise last week and had such a wonderful relaxing time. We went up through the Great Barrier Reef (in Queensland, Australia) for 7 nights. We had never been on a cruise before but we loved it and are now thinking about a Mediterranean cruise, wouldn't that be lovely! Has anyone been on one? Would love to hear what you thought.

Anyway, so that's why there has been no blogging from me but now I have just created up a storm since I have had a cold for the past week since we got back so no going out, just crafting when I had the energy (must have been a man's cold I had hehe).

I love these 2 girls below, I have created with them once before but made them a similar height this time so that they were more like friends than sisters (they are a set and one is usually shorter than the other). I have kept my card quite clean and simple as I really wanted them to stand out. I have added my previous card which I made for my sister a while back. Retro Selfie Birthday Card (Kenny K image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I love this image so much, how cute and sassy is she? You can find her at Kenny K. My friend's mum is turning 70 years old and this is how I remember her when we were children hehe. She was always very glamorous and so I thought this would give her a little giggle on such a great milestone Birthday.

Soccer Boy card (DigiStamp Boutique image)

Hi everyone,

I bet you're surprised to see 2 boy cards from me today if you follow my blog as I would say 90% of my cards are usually girly hehe. 

To create this card I cut out a white circle then cut it into segments hoping to get a bit of a "ball" feel to it once mounted on the black background. I doodled stitching all around. The cute boyish image is from DigiStamp Boutique.

Dragon in Love card (Conie Fong/Sweet Pea Stamps image)

Hi crafty friends,

I'm so pleased with how this photo came out, sometimes it is so difficult to photograph shaped cards, do you find that too? 

I used my old retro flower punches for a lot of this card. I cut the punched flowers in half, curled their petals and stuck them behind the other papers (the white and red flowers but 2 different sizes). I doodled some stitching just for fun too. The sweet little dragon is drawn by Conie Fong and you can find it at Sweet Pea Stamps.

Be Mine Bunnies (Inky Impressions image)

Hi Crafty friends,

These little bunnies come from Inky Impressions, aren't they adorable? I used a Bo Bunny paper which was pretty fussy already so I just used my white pen to doodle/stitch around the heart and card border. I used foam tape on the bunnies to make them pop off the card and added some flowers.

Birthday Balloon Girl (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Happy Australia Day! It is our national day of celebrating our wonderful country today and I must say, I'm pretty happy to be an Aussie.

I have created 2 really girly cards with the same Kaisercraft papers but still very different designs I think. This one is using a gorgeous image from Saturated Canary. I added a little doodling around the image, kind of like a balloon string. I have used this image before so have a photo of it below.

Oooh, Yuck card (Crafts & Me/Hannah Lynn image)

Hi crafty friends,

My last card for today is this one using an image drawn by Hannah Lynn and can be found at Crafts and Me. I really enjoy colouring Hannah Lynn's images, they are really crazy cute. I doodled some little black loops onto the papers, I'm not sure how she got the little black marks on her face as they were there before I doodled but after I coloured her.
