A little purple & pink witch and her broom (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I had some issues with challenge inlinkz this week so I'm hoping I don't have trouble today as I have so many cards to show you. I will post 3 now and then a few over the next few days. 

I've been having some fun with my new oxide inks again, I made this background paper with just 2 colours (I think wilted violet and worn lipstick) and some water (I add a little bit of Perfect Pearls to my water spray bottle so I get a nice shimmer, much cheaper than buying lots of coloured shimmer water sprays). After spraying it I scrunched the paper. I coloured the gorgeous girl from Saturated Canary with Copics, trying a new skin combo - E11, YR00 and YR000, I'm loving this skin tone.

A Girly 18th Birthday card (All Dressed Up image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's a 2nd card using an All Dressed Up image tonight. My daughter wanted me to create a card for one of her best friends who has just turned 18. I thought this was a lovely classy image for Jess. I made the main circle paper with my distress oxide inks and sprays of water. I added some products from my company Flourish with a Bling - the rhinestones and the sparkly lilac flourish.

Lavender Thank You card (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Oh how I love these papers from Pion Design, aren't they divine? Here's my 3rd card using a Saturated Canary image in 24 hours! This girl had wings but I fussy cut them off. I played around with my new Oxide inks to create her dress, it was a bit of fun for a change up. I punched the butterflies out of the papers and heat embossed the sentiment (I used my Wilted Violet oxide ink for the sentiment but it was too bright so I went over it with a brown and then while the ink was still a little wet I added some clear embossing powder). Apart from the dress and lips the rest was coloured with Copics.

Water fairy card (Faery Ink Designs image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's the International Comedy Festival in Melbourne (Australia) and we've got tickets to see 2 comedians tonight, I'm very excited, I think it will be a great night! So I'm going to rush through these 2 cards as quick as I can, I didn't rush the cards though so I hope you like them.

I've been trying a few mixed media backgrounds lately, it's still new to me so sometimes it's a hit sometimes a bit of a miss but that's the only way to learn by keep trying isn't it? You can find this beautiful fairy at Faery Ink Designs and the water drops are from Flourish with a Bling. I added a little glitter to the water drops but I shouldn't have because they have a much nicer glimmer to them without it.

Purple Congratulations shaker card (Milk Coffee image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I  made a grown up shaker card, not sure how well they go together but I think everyone loves a shaker card don't they hehe? I have had these silver hearts forever so it's great to finally get to use them in my shaker cards. I have also had this gorgeous purple corrugated paper forever but never had anything to match it until I coloured up this young lady from Milk Coffee (sadly no longer available).
