Zoe's 17th Birthday card (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

My daughter's friend Zoe is turning 17 tomorrow and so Chloe gave me a list of what she wanted on the card (ie. red hair, green/hazel eyes, lots of make up and fake tanned skin to look like Zoe). The other request was to make the card pink and black, and I thought "ooh, not sure how this will go with red hair" but I love how it turned out and wouldn't be scared to use these colour combinations again now. 

I die cut some sparkly black stars, I used Glossy Accents on her lips, bangles, and earrings. I also added some Wink of Stella to her cap but it's not easy to see on the photo. You can find the sassy little image at Saturated Canary. I just bought some new Saturated Canary images on the weekend so I'll be posting a few new cards soon :)

Stylish Dog Walker (Bugaboo Stamps image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have 3 more cards to show you today. I create in spurts of colouring a few images in one sitting and then another time, creating the cards with the coloured images. I know some crafters prefer to colour and create the card all at one time, I would love to know how you like to do it.

This sassy girl is from Bugaboo, I think she's adorable. I love this lace and how you can weave ribbon through it to match the card. The butterfly is a brad.

Sparkly dressed Girl (Sami Stamps image)

Wow, have you ever tried to photograph a glitter card? All the papers for this card were glitter paper and I glittered her dress also and this was incredibly difficult to make look good in a photo even though in real life it's a very elegant and sassy card. 

I love this gorgeous image from Sami Stamps, she's so fine!! My daughter gave me the little black flowers, they were for her nails but she didn't want them anymore, perfect to add the finishing touch to my card I think.

Blue Haired Girl (Crafts & Me/Hannah Lynn image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

My last card tonight and I think this blue-haired girl is such a stunner. I didn't think I was going to find any papers to match her as the blue is so bright but I was lucky enough to find a piece in my scraps box, my lucky day it would seem hehe. I doodled with my white paint pen some "stitching" and I have used some gorgeous FWAB products - Blue Chloe Flourish and light blue Maddison flower. Walking on Sunshine Card (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I hope you're all enjoying the start of your weekend.

I thought I would try something new for me which is printing the image straight onto my card front. I have seen others do it before and it looks great but I'm not quite so thrilled with mine. The photo shows the card looking very wonky but it isn't. I couldn't leave the background white so I inked yellow around the card. The image is from Saturated Canary.

Happy ANZAC day to you all, it is a very special day here in Australia and Lest we forget.

It's my last card of the day and I think it's really cute (am I allowed to say that about one of my cards hehe?) I have created this card for my niece Grace's 14th Birthday.
