My first DT card for PCJ Challenge

I am so chuffed to be a new design team member for Paper Crafting Journey! I have loved joining in their challenges for the past 6 months so I'm very excited to be a part of their team.

Their challenge this fortnight is the easiest challenge of all - Anything goes!! Woohoo!! I have used one of the sponsors new digis, isn't she a cutie? This digi is from Elisabeth Bell who I have used her digis on a few of my cards. (See labels at the bottom to see my other E.Bell cards.)

With this stamp, I printed it twice and coloured the hair, teddy and jeans on one image then cut them out carefully to add to the other image which I had coloured the other parts in. This gives it a slightly 3D effect (in person, you may not be able to see it on the photo). I then fussy cut the whole image out and used foam tape so she pops off the card. I hand cut the banner from scraps and then distressed it.

FWAB used:
Jack vine leaves in forest green, silver rhinestones

GDT for C.R.A.F.T. - Make backing paper

I am so excited to guest design for C.R.A.F.T. Challenge this month, they have some wonderful challenges and this one was no exception - make your own backing paper!

I decided to die-cut some green paper, ruled lines on it with a clear sparkle pen and going in the other direction I used a silver Smooch. I lightly chalked (in green) where the lines met to hopefully give it a little depth of colour. I then added the rhinestones for a little sparkle, hope you like it. I also made the two top flowers by punching some flowers and layering them.

The sponsors/prizes for this challenge are from LEJ Designs, Stitchy Bear Stamps, Saturated Canary (this girl is from SC) and Scrapper's Delights. Gee that's a lot of great sponsors in one challenge isn't it? Well worth entering their competition and I'd love to see what backing paper you create, I love being inspired!

FWAB used:

Guest Designer card for Little Miss Muffet

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas filled with fun, laughter, presents, family and food!!

I have created another card for my December Guest Designer spot with Little Miss Muffet. This time I used three of their gorgeous girls to create my card. This was not my original plan but I overfilled one of my copics so when I opened the lid a huge ink splat hit my almost finished stamp, I was so upset. Then I realised all was not lost as I could use my old Fiskars template circles and cut out the good part. It just meant colouring 2 other cuties to add to the card. There really is no such thing as a mistake in crafting, just rearranging lol.

FWAB used:
Jack vine leaves and mini vine in Olive green
Red and Antique gold pearls

Yay and welcome to my newest (and 100th) follower, Kat!!! A big Hi to all of my wonderful followers, I am so happy to have each and every one of you!

When I first started my blog a few months ago I never expected to have anyone be interested in my little blog so I'm so thrilled that every week I have more friends join me. I love seeing each and every one of you visit, whether you leave a lovely comment or just view my cards, I love seeing that I've had over 10,000 views in such a short time!!!

So I'd love to give a lucky follower some Flourish with a Bling freebies - you've no doubt seen our gorgeous products on my cards as I love to use FWAB on just about every card I create, it finishes them off beautifully I think. I am going to give this candy to one of my followers that comments on this blog post and adds the image of the prize to their blog sidebar (along with a link to this blog post), simple as that! I will close the competition on Thursday 20th December so someone will know before Christmas that they're getting an FWAB pressie!! New followers are more than welcome to join in, the more the merrier.

This prize includes:
Trent's fence
Taylah's Toadstools
Up in the Sky
Elise flourish & flowers (choice of colours)
Jasmine laser flourish (choice of colours)
Chloe pearl flourish (choice of colours)

We have a range of colours in some of the items above so I can send this prize pack or you can choose your own colours if you like!! To check out our colours visit Flourish with a Bling to view our range.

This competition is open world-wide and as long as you are now a follower (and add the image to your blog) you are eligible but please don't just follow my blog because you want the prize pack as that would be sad, I hope you like my cards and seeing how I use FWAB in different ways.

Please feel free to email me any time, FWAB is an Australian wholesale company but we have a stockist list which includes international stockists. We'd love for you to pass on our details to your favourite craft store if you're not the lucky winner of this goodie pack.

The Paper Shelter blog has a challenge this fortnight which is "Anything Goes", everybody's favourite challenge, especially at this time of the year!! This challenge runs until 9th January.
