Dorothy and Toto girly card (Crafts & Me/Hannah Lynn image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Who doesn't love The Wizard of Oz movie? I grew up watching it every Christmas in England (I live in Australia now) and I just adored it. So when I saw this gorgeous Dorothy & Toto image from Crafts and Me (Hannah Lynn is the artist) I just had to have it. I got to use some Tim Holtz film strips which I haven't used very often. I printed the image at 75% so that it wasn't a completely black outline. I also coloured her dress blue and then doodled checks on it in white.

I'm a Covergirl - Woohoo!!! Well, my card is hehe...

Hi crafty friends,

I can't believe it!! My card made the front cover of a wonderful magazine here in Australia called Australian Papercraft Essentials. I was asked to create 7 cards in issue 48 which is due out on the 14th January but I never expected they'd choose my card as the main attraction on the front page, I'm so excited and so I just had to share it with you all hehe. The theme was girly (thank goodness!) and I was to use gorgeous images from Cute as a Button. I will be able to post them all on my blog at some stage but for now I am not allowed :(

Can you believe Faery Ink Designs gave this beautiful image as a freebie? Thank you so much to them as I adore her! I cropped the image, it seems to be my thing at the moment hehe. 

I love these papers from Bo Bunny too, they have so much lovely detail to them you only need to add a few embellishments to finish the card.

Bears need love too (Crafty Sentiments image)

Wow, my mind is either in the craft zone or it's completely gone!! At the moment I am in the zone so I hope you like what I'm creating :)

These little bears are just the cutest aren't they? You can find them at Crafty Sentiments. Valentine's Day is on the way so I am making a few love cards at the moment but there are others amongst them too. I have used some silver rhinestones and gorgeous olive green leaves from Flourish with a Bling, my company which is having a huge sale this month, see below for details. Peachy Wedding Card (Cute as a Button image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I was asked by the lovely Francesca from Cute as a Button to colour and create a card for this gorgeous wedding image. I hope I did it justice. I have the bride wearing a pearl tiara and metallic bodice. 

Ahh to be a newlywed, we are going to be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary this year but I still feel like a newlywed and I'm more in love than ever! I feel so blessed. Soppy huh hehe?

Baby Boy in pram card

Hopefully you're enjoying seeing some new cards from me after a long spell at the end of last year. This photo makes it look like I really didn't blend the colours on the pram but I did I promise hehe! Silly camera!!

A girl in the window card (Paper Nest Dolls image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I hope you're enjoying 2016 so far :)

I have 3 cards to show today and this first one includes an image from Paper Nest Dolls. I coloured the little girl and the window frame then fussy cut around them so that I could add the pink "wall" background and some patterned "curtains". 

I was not really impressed with my new pressie (Aussie slang for present hehe) which was a brick wall die. The bricks in the middle didn't cut properly so I'm not sure if I need a new cutting mat or the die isn't good enough, hopefully I just need a new mat! Anyway, I decided it worked for this purpose as she is supposed to be in a house window so the bricks should be there haha!
