Ice Princess card (Crafts & Me/Hannah Lynn image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I printed this gorgeous image from Hannah Lynn (Crafts and Me) in a washed out shade (about 25%) so I could try my hand at no lines colouring. I have only done this a few times before but I feel like practice makes perfect so I must keep trying. I can't believe how beautifully some people can do this technique on Youtube, I love watching the videos. With the background of the image I just went around her flicking out with my black Copic marker but not all the way to the edge of the circle and then I used a pink Copic marker to flick inwards from the circle edge. I added some white gel pen to give the impression her dress is sparkling.

I have been practising my colouring clothes/folds and so this was a perfect image to try it out on. I did ok, there's always room for improvement isn't there? I love creating a little scene so I used some products from my company, Flourish with a Bling (the tree, banner and toadstools). Sadly Milk Coffee who created this Snow White are no longer trading.

Raspberry Brick House card (Zuri Artsy Craftsy)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have some new cards to show today, starting with this one. I love creating a scene on my cards so I was excited to try out my brick embossing folder and window die cuts in an unusual pink colour. I distressed it all so it would help differentiate between the bricks and the window. I added some netting and lace to the window. This image is from Zuri Artsy Craftsy.

Friends are the essence of Life (Bugaboo sentiment)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I made this card using a hot pink Elise flower from my company, Flourish with a Bling. This flower comes in a range of beautiful colours.

The shape for this card was really easy to make, keeping the bottom part at 15cm and the top at 5cm just so the back of the card is still attached. It does stand up easily (only will be an issue on really shiny surfaces).

The lovely sentiment is from Bugaboo. I doodled around the sentiment with a Sharpie pen.

This card was in Australian magazine, Love Cardmaking issue 10 along with 5 more of my cards (I've just posted one, will show the rest on my blog in the near future).

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

The Crazy Challenge - black is back
