I'm thrilled to be a guest designer at Tuesday Throwdown this month, they have weekly challenges and some fantastic prizes to win.
This week their challenge is stitching (faux or real), I have used faux stitching on mine as I am still yet to read the instructions on my sewing machine I just HAD to have 2 Christmases ago hehe!!
Their sponsor this challenge is Sassy Cheryl and they kindly gave me this oh-so-cute image to work with. I paper pieced her outfit and the tree, grass and pearls are from Flourish with a Bling.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Card Mania - Something new (new image & leaf die cut)
The Corrosive Challenge - Animals
The Squirrel & the Fox - Autumn or Spring
Stamp & Create - Ready for Spring
V's Sweet ideas - Kids theme

This card is really too cute Lucy, I love the scene and the faux stitching. Every time I try to sew on my machine I break the needle, I am going to get it right one day.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your card at Anything goes, Just keep on creating. It's always a pleasure commenting on your lovely creations :)
Hi Lucy! What a great image to work with. Your scene is fantastic! I love the way you added the leaf die to embellish the tree. I also have a sewing machine I hardly use heehee but mine came with a little DVD so I was able to at least add the thread and play with it a few times. LOL Good luck with you challenge entries I think you card is awesome! Thanks for playing with us a Just Inspirational Challenges.
