Zoe's 17th Birthday card (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

My daughter's friend Zoe is turning 17 tomorrow and so Chloe gave me a list of what she wanted on the card (ie. red hair, green/hazel eyes, lots of make up and fake tanned skin to look like Zoe). The other request was to make the card pink and black, and I thought "ooh, not sure how this will go with red hair" but I love how it turned out and wouldn't be scared to use these colour combinations again now. 

I die cut some sparkly black stars, I used Glossy Accents on her lips, bangles, and earrings. I also added some Wink of Stella to her cap but it's not easy to see on the photo. You can find the sassy little image at Saturated Canary. I just bought some new Saturated Canary images on the weekend so I'll be posting a few new cards soon :)

Vintage gold Mother's Day card

Hi Crafty Friends,

I know this is quite unusual from me, no cute image on the card but I thought I'd try a different style, I do like mixing it up. I created this card for my mother-in-law. I used a gorgeous embossing folder for the bottom of the card and added antique gold pearls and brown flowers from my company Flourish with a Bling.

Orange and Green Fairy card (Polkadoodles image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

This is my 2nd last card of the evening and it's a little more my style than the previous ones. Very girly and hopefully you think it has a lot to look at. This beautiful fairy is from Polkadoodles, isn't she divine? I used a lot of die cuts on this card, a technique I often forget to use even though my Spellbinders machine is on my craft table! I did some watercolouring again around the image. My next card is very girly too, I hope you'll stick around to see it.

I cherish you card (Crafts & Me/Hannah Lynn image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Although I've used similar colours in these 3 cards I've posted tonight, I think they all look quite different, especially this one. I was ultra-excited to colour up this beautiful image from Hannah Lynn (find her images at C&Me). The thing I most love about Valentine's Day themed cards is using red and pink together, its one of my favourite colour combinations in cardmaking. 

I have also used some leaves, pearls and the red flower from Flourish with a Bling. We are selling all our products at a ridiculous $2 each this month, that's more than half off most products!! I hope you'll check out our website as we have our own unique products and we post worldwide.
