Spread a lil magic Fairy card (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I've been playing around with my Oxide inks again, they are so much fun! I also used my star stencil again with my texture paste. Last time I created a card with a similar background I asked for advice on how to keep the stars white - thanks so much for the ideas Vannessa and Carol, for anyone else that's interested their ideas were to use embossing powder instead of texture paste or stencil over the background once inked, I love both the ideas and will definitely try them in the future.

I used one of my extra large Spellbinders dies to create the borders, I don't usually use them as they are so large but I realised I don't have to use the top and bottom as well. The background goes really well against the colouring of the Saturated Canary image but I couldn't manage to photograph it well, they look like completely different shades of pink.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

AllSorts - use your old faves (one of my favourite images)
Crafty Catz - anything goes with optional twist: something new
Creatalicious -  anything goes with optional cute
The Fairy & Unicorn - anything mythical (fairy)

Strawberry Shortcake Birthday card

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have another girly card to show you and this one was made using an old free colouring book image of Strawberry Shortcake. When I first started I printed out lots of colouring book images and I've decided to slowly start colouring them up as I chose really cute ones like this, isn't she sweet? I used a lot of dies and stitching dies for this card as you can probably see but it was fun to just keep adding layers until I was happy with it.

A Birthday Girl in Europe card (All Dressed Up image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have a few cards to show tonight.

It still feels like winter here as Spring is only just starting, I can't wait for the warmer weather but I feel I can't complain about our cold weather when Hurricane Irma is destroying parts of the beautiful Caribbean and on it's way to Florida, I hope none of you are being affected by it.

On a happier note, I created this card for my gorgeous UK friend who holidays in Spain all the time and is going again for her birthday this month. This scene and girl reminded me of her, you can find it at All Dressed Up. Instead of colouring with my copics I used my distress inks watered down.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

All Dressed Up - anything goes with an ADU image
Card Mania - shabby chic or rustic
Craft-Alnica - shabby chic
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper - anything goes with patterned paper
Creatalicious -  anything goes with optional mythical creatures
Hannah & Friends - pastel plus stamp

Polkadoodles - anything goes w36
Ribbon Girl - any card
SugarPea Designs - mix it up - inspired by the photo houses/doors/windows

Have a great day,
