Guest Designer for Quirky Crafts

Good morning/evening,

I am a guest designer at Quirky Crafts this week, they have such a great challenge blog. This challenge is being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish who kindly sent me this gorgeous Squirrel digi to play. They have a sale on until Halloween so now's a perfect time to check out their goodies.
As Quirky Crafts challenge is Autumn colours and Anything but a card, I thought I'd make a door plaque. I glued the papers down onto MDF and added the ribbon where the papers join. I coloured the image with copic markers and finished it of with a Flourish with a Bling tree and fence!

Nanna's Birthday card

Hi, me again lol, I have been one busy crafter lately, I'm addicted!!! My Mother-in-law's Birthday is coming up next weekend so instead of waiting until the last minute I thought I'd enjoy it whilst incorporating a few challenge criteria along the way. Halloween witch card

Do you ever make a card and there's something about it you don't think is quite right? I created a card yesterday with a great sketch from Delightful Challenges (see below for link) and an absolutely gorgeous free ghost digi from SK Digis but I didn't love my card so thought long and hard before just changing the image and changing the sketch angle and now I think it's really cute, that's all it took lol!! This witch is from Crafts & Me and I doodled the spiderwebs. So my simple advice is next time you don't like your card, just swap a couple of things, it might make all the difference. I'm going to show both cards just so you can see what I mean:

Cupcake fairy card

Hi, Do you know you all help me jump out of bed excited every morning lol?? I love turning on the computer and seeing all the lovely comments you've left me overnight (I'm in Oz so opposite awake times). It's such a great thing to wake up to each day and then to see new followers almost every day in the last few weeks is a real buzz!! Skateboarder boy card

Hi and thanks for coming to see my card today.

I thought it was time I made another boy card as I'm a bit slack with making cards for boys, I love girly things (so I have a girly card to upload straight after this if I get time lol). I coloured these guys with copics and inked the background with a homemade cloud template for the sky. I made one of the boys smaller and flipped him so he looks like he's in the background, hopefully he doesn't just look like a smaller version of the large boy lol.

This gorgeous boy digi is from Jellypark Friends and the profits for this particular stamp go to charity which is wonderful.

Guest designer for Jellypark Friends - Pink card

Hi there,

I am a guest designer at Jellypark Friends (http://jellyparkchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/) this week, they have such cute stamps! I have made this card using their gorgeous digi stamp Princess for the day (http://www.jellypark.co.uk/ourshop/prod_1629126-084-princess-for-the-day-digital-stamp.html). I paper pieced her - printed the little girl twice so I could fussy cut her hair/crown and dress from one print-out and add it to the other so she looked more 3D-like.
