Happy Birthday Mermaid card (The Paper Shelter image)

Hi crafty friends,

Me again hehe, and this time I have gone against all the Autumn and Halloween themed papers and opted to do one last Summer card (although here in Oz we're coming up to Summer soon so maybe I'll do more in a couple of months' time).

I have used a sweet mermaid from The Paper Shelter, I have had her coloured for ages as I had some papers I was inspired to use with her but it had black in them and in the end I have only used the polka dot/floral paper on the card! Sometimes it works that way doesn't it where you're moving everything about but it still doesn't look right and you have to start from scratch. I'm now happy with how it turned out.

I have used pearls, the lovely sun and you can just see some of the orange puffy flourish I have used under the netting, these items are all from Flourish with a Bling.
