I have a little card I created today using a gorgeous little image from Lacy Sunshine, what a joy to colour, I just wish I could colour the creases/folds of her coat better. I have enrolled in one of Alyce from Kit & Clowder's "clothing" classes so hopefully once I get the chance to thoroughly watch that I will come out with some good ideas and perhaps re-colour this image again to see the difference.

18th Birthday Autumn Girl card (Art by Miran image)

My Dad's 70th Birthday card

Hi everyone,

I am sure you will all agree that I am the worst daughter in the whole wide world, I forgot to send my lovely father a 70th Birthday card on time (he's holidaying over the other side of the world at the moment). I'm not even a couple of days late, I'm a whole month and a half late!! Whoops!! I am really hoping he forgives me when he sees the effort that went into making this card for him.

This was created with a larger sized card so I had plenty of room for all my little sentiments which were printed in different fonts from my computer. I did a lot of inking around everything to give it an aged look, hope you like it, I know it is very different from my usual style.

I have to be super quick tonight as I have 3 cards to post and it's almost midnight here in Oz!! 

This card is very unusual for me - a boy's card first of all and then I have used a rubber stamp (digis are usually my go to images). This gorgeous guy is from The Greeting Farm and I've had him for quite a while but recently I was going through my rubber stamps and found him again.

Birthday Wishes Red & Brown card (Saturated Canary image)

Hi everyone,

I hope it's warming up where you are, most of you have the opposite seasons to us here in Australia, here it's cooling down and quickly! We're due to have a month's worth of rain in just 4 days.

Onto my latest card, I've created this one with a Saturated Canary image, isn't she beautiful, her name is Zoe I think. 

I gave my sister a die cutting lesson the other day and while doing so I discovered the Spellbinders Grand Calibur and dies do actually cut through material! I was very excited about this so I tried it with my brown hessian and voila, I love how it turned out. I have also used some cork paper as backing paper and experimented with punching out some butterflies and they worked too, my lucky day hehe!!

I'm a guest designer at Crafting By Designs (Hannah Lynn image)

Hi everyone,

I am delighted to be a guest designer at Crafting by Designs this challenge! They have a wonderful challenge blog with weekly AND monthly challenges! This week's challenge is to use ribbon, easy huh?

I have made this card for my darling daughter's 14th Birthday this weekend, I hope she likes it. I think she gets a little bored of me always saying "do you like my new card I made?" and she'll often tease me and say "oh no, that's ugly, really, that's not cute at all", isn't she a meanie hehe?

I have distressed all the edges and someone asked me the other day what mediums I use - I always colour with copics unless I say otherwise. I have used pearl flourishes from my company Flourish with a Bling. The gorgeous fairy is from Crafts and Me, she is the creation of Hannah Lynn who has the most fabulous images ever! I have created a few more cards using some newly acquired Hannah Lynn images, will post them within a couple of weeks.
