Hi crafty friends,
I've been watching Youtube videos again lol and so I was inspired to create my own background from scratch! Now I'm not a drawer at all so this was very difficult to do but, apart from a big mistake (can you pick it? I'll tell you in a minute) I was happy with how it turned out. The tree is surprisingly easier to create, the rest took a lot more thought. My mistake was when I created the fence I coloured all the vertical pieces without giving consideration to the horizontal pieces that would be in front of the slats. So I had to make the horizontal pieces darker to try and hide what I'd done. I didn't succeed very well but have definitely learned for next time. Probably would be a good idea to draw the background in with a grey-lead pencil first doh! This adorable image with her cat comes from Conie Fong. Thank you so much for coming to check out my card, I really appreciate all of you!
