A cute 2yo Birthday girl's card (Lili of the Valley image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

My hairdresser requested a couple of cards recently and this one is for her niece who's turning 2. I just love this bear from Lili of the Valley, I can't get enough of them, they're so darn cute! He looks like he's hanging on so before printing it I created the scene on my computer using hearts, text and lines. My hairdresser loved it so hopefully little Addison does too.

Spread a lil magic Fairy card (Saturated Canary image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I've been playing around with my Oxide inks again, they are so much fun! I also used my star stencil again with my texture paste. Last time I created a card with a similar background I asked for advice on how to keep the stars white - thanks so much for the ideas Vannessa and Carol, for anyone else that's interested their ideas were to use embossing powder instead of texture paste or stencil over the background once inked, I love both the ideas and will definitely try them in the future.

I used one of my extra large Spellbinders dies to create the borders, I don't usually use them as they are so large but I realised I don't have to use the top and bottom as well. The background goes really well against the colouring of the Saturated Canary image but I couldn't manage to photograph it well, they look like completely different shades of pink.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

AllSorts - use your old faves (one of my favourite images)
Crafty Catz - anything goes with optional twist: something new
Creatalicious -  anything goes with optional cute
The Fairy & Unicorn - anything mythical (fairy)
Happy Little Stampers -   anything goes with dies - die cut borders

A garden Birthday card for hubby

Hi Crafty Friends,

I created this for my gorgeous hubby who's been so busy creating a beautiful landscaped back and front garden for us. We finally have somewhere to sit and enjoy the Aussie summer, I can't believe it took us 7 years to get sorted, I'm in love with lazing around outside now. So this card was inspired by his hard work, no images, just die cuts and a little imagination :)

A female 70th Birthday card

Hi Crafty Friends,

My last card of the day is one surprisingly without an image! I created this card for my mother-in-law's 70th Birthday. I wanted her to know I care by making a card completely from scratch - the background I made with a stencil, heat embossing and distress oxide inks. The clock was heat embossed (I didn't even know I had a clock stamp this big until I went hunting around in my stamp boxes!) Most of the rest is using punches and die cuts and the gorgeous flourish is from my company, Flourish with a Bling.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

AllSorts - butterflies
Card Mania - monochromatic
Crafting with an Attitude -  anything goes
Crafting with Friends -  anything goes
Creatalicious - anything goes with optional cute
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - anything goes
Scrap from your heart - use flowers
Simon Says Stamp (Mon) - tag it

Tuesday Throwdown - anything goes

Strawberry Shortcake Birthday card

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have another girly card to show you and this one was made using an old free colouring book image of Strawberry Shortcake. When I first started I printed out lots of colouring book images and I've decided to slowly start colouring them up as I chose really cute ones like this, isn't she sweet? I used a lot of dies and stitching dies for this card as you can probably see but it was fun to just keep adding layers until I was happy with it.
